RG will not be coming back, just the Saturday Night Troll Show.

Well, with Ghost pulling the plug on RG/Troll Show and chatroom/Gab shoutouts there's not much left for call-in show trolling these days. Buddhism Hotline is a steaming pile of shit and T.Rucker/Steven Chilton put his Haulin' Ass show behind a paywall, and that was the only other big show where the decent TCR splicers/remixers liked to mess around.

Seems like people are trying to migrate over to this guy's BTR broadcast

Ok, Tony's BTR broadcast is shaping up to be a surprisingly decent Ersatz-TCR. A balanced mix of racist song calls, offensive homophone chatroom names, bait-and-switch calls, shitting_on_mic.wav, Ghost audio splices, and character/lore-based trolling.

I'm curious to get the full lowdown on the TonyTalks lore. I just know the barebones stuff so far in regards to some of the recurring callers and his basic family/pet situation.

Also, somebody tried to get the info on this, but failed. Does anybody know why the TonyTalk archive only starts from episode 5? Did he just misnumber it?

I'm not sure either, but maybe he had an older BTR account prior to this that has the first four

lol on a recent broadcast of Tony's show, someone called in with the tried and true cartoon-chipmunk instasplice technique that has been utilized to such great effect in TCR, but since Tony's voice has literally no bass and sounds like a cross between MaskedPony and Joe Pesci, the cartoon splice of Tony's voice was almost indistinguishable from the original audio

I'm gonna miss the old free laughs for an hour. I used to listen in during the election and a bit world news.

the last time I listened in was Jan I've heard it's gone downhill anyone who still tunes in mind filling me in? wish bmar would consider doing videos again. his videos was the best way to get the good stuff instead of having to watch BK's crappy toxic pony streams.

Show's over for all practical purposes. Since June, Ghost restructured the show to have no more public call-in segments, not even shoutouts to keep the former TCR community engaged. It's just Ghost's soliloquy show now, with a handful of Inner Circle sycophants and brownnosers who are allowed on air from time to time. BK rebranded his stream to completely purge it of the pony connection, and now he is one of Ghost's chief brownnosers ever since he made a few grand from Ghost's crypto investment advice.

The regular trolls have dispersed. A fairly good number have migrated their trolling over to Tony's BTR show, and some I'm sure still call into Haulin' Ass, but since the live feed of the latter show went behind a paywall around the same time Ghost ended the classic TCR call-in segments, I'm not up to speed on who still actively participates in Haulin' Ass.

The chatroom killed TCR IMO. Created an echo chamber that would agree with Ghost no matter what on the show structure, like removing Radio Graffiti. And I'm pretty sure the real reason BK rebranded was because all the bronies were getting kicked out. You know, the fandom that helped catapult Ghost into an internet legend?

TonyTalk is getting to be reliably excellent these days. The Fake Pastor Ken saga was most entertaining.

Tl;dr they found him streaming anime and the autists at the TCR chat went apeshit and forced him out, prior to that people were flagging his channel to get back at him for cucking to Ghosts faggotry. Quite a few channels that upload and stream the hambone's shit have been targeted and disliked bombed/reported to deplatform Ghost even further.

There's a lot of developments pointing the gradual evolution of TonyTalk towards something closely approximating the 2010-2012 golden age of TCR.

It's often been said that in the golden age of TCR, the show resembled something like a sitcom, with a colorful cast of recurring character-based callers and dramatic storyline sagas spanning multiple episodes. Now TonyTalk has pretty much evolved to that point from what I can see.
