She's made a name for herself off the back of people more talented than her, and correspondingly has fucked and flirted her way through much of her life. She's a reasonably attractive woman (or was, at least) in nerd circles, and that's marketable. While she has a fraction of the influence she used to have, she's still a recognizable name in many circles because of her opposition to GG and her placement as a victimized womyn. So long as she pushes the ideology, there will be people on her side willing to give her a place, though these offers will continue to shrink as it becomes increasingly clear that she's fucking poison.

Part of this is that she was partnered with Feminist Frequency from the get-go. A common belief many had was that she and Anita were allies, and while many Anti-GGers dismissed this as conspiratorial, truth was that Quinn and Sarkeesian were allies long before Gamergate ever happened, and Feminist Frequency had staff that were IRL friends with Quinn during the same (Maya Kramer helping her DDoS TFYC, Katherine Cross being a literal member of CON from the moment Quinn formed it, et al). Quinn was a nice backdrop for the ideology to lock onto - it just so happened that she was also a massive piece of shit with a long and glorious tradition of harassing people that just would not stay buried.

Back in the day, she used to be able to get massive amounts of coverage by crying crocodile tears and even got to go before the UN and argue that the entire internet should be censored to protect her feelings. What happened was that all of Quinn's chickens came home to roost at once: She was forced to vacate her Order of Protection against her ex, lest she perjure herself, and her going before the UN was an unmitigated disaster.

I didn't follow the 5 Guys side of GG that much, so I guess someone like @Jaimas would be the one to ask, but didn't the last 2 guys get confirmed by Gjoni at some point?

Yes. People she's confirmed to have fucked include Nathan Grayson (who was financially supporting her to the tune of hundreds of dollars to boot), Robin Arnott (who was judging a contest her game was in while they were fucking, works for the PR firm Feminist Frequency uses, and was part of her fucking up the Polaris Game Jam and blaming Jontron for it; check her lolcow wiki article), Joshua Boggs (whom she was not only fucking, was married, and was her boss). Chelsea is a long term grifter who sleeps around for money and influence and scrounges together enough money to gimp along in a sleazy hipster demimonde, but not enough for any kind of glamorous Hollywood-tier coke habit. So it might have started out about relevancy, but the more they do it the more they dig in and hunker down. So basically it does eventually become a master plan, but I'm not sure if that was ever the initial intention. Make no mistake, however: each step forward, while potentially higher-profile and more public, is also another step towards bottoming out. As the old saying goes, victimhood has an expiration date.

There once was a point where Quinn was making almost $10,000 a month on Patreon alone, was a fucking Twitter partner, got backchannels into Google and Twitter, and was getting speaking engagements practically once a month.

Now she barely makes more than Brianna Wu did three years ago, her "anti-harassment taskforce" has publicly been exposed as a hilarious fraud staffed with multiple sex offenders (and went under for good measure, taking her connections with it), her boy-toy Alex Lifschitz accidentally his entire career by either breaking an NDA or slandering his employer (and either way he'll never work in the industry again), and she isn't pulling down anywhere near the kind of bank she used to - and it only goes downhill from here.

She's increasingly known as an embarrassing failure who can't complete a project if her life depends on it. She's got an increasingly big backlog of very public failures - her Chuck Tingle FMV game that is never going to come out; her book that's a fucking joke sales-wise (outsold by fucking Bob Chipman's book last time I checked), and her games that are economic failures (not a single one sold worth a damn and most are freeware). This is bad enough, but when you throw in her fucking meltdowns on Twitter (Nintendo/Five Fun Guys, Tim Soret, anti-Trump sperging), she increasingly has no credibility outside her bubble.

She'll keep getting work. There's always going to be some Social Justice idiot who wants to help her or some cuck who wants a shot at her mayvis fritter, but the gravy train has left the station - and it ain't coming back.
