This is not new behavior, but they are definitely stressed about KF more than they used to be. It's clear that they know something is going to be unavoidable eventually and that it scares them.
PK and Eevee will never escape this cycle and mindset unless they admit what they did wrong. But people like them never want to learn because that means they have to be punished and they can't keep being horrible people juat because it makes them feel good.

So let me get this straight.

Eevee actually doesn't know if the logs are edited, because he can't see the originals. Belives they are edited because of Marls word, someone who has been supposedly keeping secrets from Glip/Eevee about being into beastiality, who both claim is an abuser. Despite the fact Fluff never claimed they where edited. Despite the fact these logs line up with Lains story, who they still lean on "she apperntly lied about someone else" as proof they're innocent in her case.

Eevee is claiming the logs are edited, but from his own story he couldn't have seen proof of that, he only has Marls word to go on if Marl "innocently" deletes everything. Why is he so vehemently taking Marls word that they are edited despite everything?

Shucks, I always miss the twitter rant fun. This last one of PK's is rather pathetic and desperate, she sounds crazier than ever before. Repeatedly screaming "I'm happy! I'm happy! Everyone is out to get me for no reason but I don't care because I'm so happy la la la!" doesn't make you sound like a victim. It makes you sound unhinged.

I agree with the sentiment that Eevee has taken the social reins. I guess now that Marl has been axed, Eevee feels awash in that Big Dick Energy. He's the top dog in the ring now that the old alpha has been exiled.

This. All they can do is distract and detract which is pretty pathetic. The more the two rape babies keep addressing this, the crazier they look and the more obsessed they seem. If she is really going to marry eevee, then I assume she'll also be looking for some side action as well, if she really did cast out Marl, then the next person she's going to be with probs won't be. And with her not wanting birth control, this can only go so well.

So of the courses of action that could've been taken [I won't be including the whole "Don't start shit in the first place" path], which of these do you think would have worked the best for the trio/duo?

1. Own up when the logs leaked by tossing Marl under the bus and taking whatever rep hit that would bring.
2. Keep deflecting and accusing until and hope the source of the logs stays MIA until they're legally protected by limitations and are effectively "proven innocent" until either that happens or s/he returns and Google provides the logs
   
3. Own up now and turn Marl over, taking whatever rep hit that would bring.

I think it's worth noting that it's really only by sheer fortune that Lain shared those logs here in the first place for there to even legally be a possible case. Without them being posted when they did or sooner, it's pretty likely the thread would not have looked into the statute of limitations and found they were still even covered (I think they were posted within a year of it expiring?). I'm not in touch with any authoritative body on the matter, so I don't know if Eevee and company simply can't hope to wait it out or if the charges still have to be pressed soon if ever.

There is great but horrific irony at in the scenario that Eevee finally claims the top spot from Marl only for PK to pick up a new side piece and leave Eevee raising the new guy's kid. That said, I highly doubt she'll have kids. Kids are hard, way hard to take care of, and 1000x the hassle that Eevee and PK are used to. If Eevee quits a six figure job from fatigue and PK drops out of art school for the same purpose, there's no way either of them are in for a 2 decade long haul of taking care of somebody.

There are still fans of PK for some reason. I wouldn't doubt that they're a long-time ass-patter/follower that perhaps the two find easy to manipulate. And while their everyday lives are truly sad, running around social media and ranting about nothing, they are undeserving of sympathy, as others have said.
