Why do people even use this exceptional "he's just an entertainer LMAO" argument? Really my main gripe with the guy at this point is that he's a hypocrite who talks out his ass a lot. He'll make fun of the concept of having internet friends but then hang out with Ethan Ralph, a fat manchild who got arrested twice for assaulting a cop (something he made fun of Lindsay Ellis for) 10 years ago every night on his livestream show no one watches. He'll make fun of the concept of fighting for a cause or whatever then passive aggressively bitch about gaming conventions being tolerant of trannies and video games having too much SJW shit in them. His entire internet persona is making fun of exceptional individuals who take dumb internet drama way too seriously but then he'll make a 4 part rant that's 2 hours long about some British faggot no one cares about. He'll respond to people on Twitter who talk shit about him but then ignore someone who has a much larger and more rabid audience then he does.

If he's going to put on this super shitposter act where he never takes anything seriously and makes fun of people for doing dumb shit then the least he could do is not fall into the same sort of archetype of people that he laughs at.

Yeah, I dislike the double standards he obviously has and his audience also holds him to also. A portion of them hold other content creators to autistic levels of scrutiny, yet seem to give Jim's content a free pass in terms of scrutiny.

The difference I think between Jim and a place like KF is that Jim is using laughing at lolcows as a means of self-validation and to make a career for himself, akin to a tabloid TV show host like Springer. Instead of covering cows and occasionally prodding them, he now gets into exceptional shit-flinging matches with them on social media.

Not to be a dick but "bad content" is entirely based on your own perspective, and it's a bit disingenuous to keep acting as if though your opinion is factual. A) It doesn't take that much time at all out of the day to hop on a stream, and if it's a stream the guy enjoys why wouldn't he want to take part in it? It doesn't make him Ralph's internet friend any more than it made Tonka, Failure, or Warski his internet friend.

B) Saying "x people ruined y thing" isn't an ideological statement. Unless you're seriously going to make the argument that SJWs made GDQ a better entertainment experience.

C) He literally gets paid to make videos about internet personalities, and he typically does them on people he thinks would be entertaining subjects. As far as Kraut being "some British faggot no one cares about", you could say similar things about Terry A Davis, Nick Bate, etc. being "some (insert here) faggot no one cares about".

D) It takes what, one, two minutes to type out a tweet?

How often do you see people questioning someone's motivation out of sheer curiosity, and not because they disapprove of that person's actions?
When people say "you're just doing that because of [insert hidden motive]", they usually mean "I don't like it, stop doing that".

Jim has been inquired multiple times on stream why he's doing things the way he's doing them. He's given an explanation, one you can choose to believe or not.
