It's funny that Sargon of all people is criticizing someone for being around 40 and having a prepubescent user-base and "grooming" them to do what he wants...
To be fair, it wasn't just about having a younger fanbase so much as the alleged toxicity of Metokur's fan community, with its own members constantly trollshielding to prevent themselves from becoming the next harassment victim. That, and about him interrogating a 17 year old regarding his boyfriend in creepy detail.

Sargon is a bit of a hypocrite on that last point though, since he did once shame a high schooler for being single. Not quite the same level of creepiness, but still not appropriate for someone pushing 40 to talk about.

You can't help but think that someone smarter than Sargon would realise that Jim is a satirist in the tradition of Private Eye. A good satirist is supposed to dislike, or at least pretend to dislike, the self important, sociopathic types he's satirising.

From a famous moment in British satire

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-35110830

It all began with Peter Cook in Beyond the Fringe. His befuddled take on Harold Macmillan, the patrician grouse moor Tory who told Britons they had "never had it so good", was seen as a thrilling challenge to the old, established order at the birth of the "satire boom" in the early 1960s. No one had dared to impersonate the prime minister before.

Much to Cook's annoyance, Macmillan sat in the stalls one evening chortling away as his own mannerisms and voice were mercilessly sent-up, prompting the satirist to depart from his script, saying, in Macmillan's pompous tones: "There's nothing I like better than to wander over to a theatre and sit there listening to a group of sappy, urgent, vibrant young satirists with a stupid great grin spread all over my silly face".

Cook was under no illusions about the effectiveness of satire

https://www.economist.com/moreover/2000/08/24/fringe-benefits

The satire boom itself lasted four years or less. Many of its stars moved on to other ground. Of the “Fringe” four, Dr Miller, a medical doctor and polymath, turned to writing and to directing plays and operas. Dudley Moore went off to Hollywood. Alan Bennett became a university teacher and writer, though he continued to perform. Peter Cook stayed truest to satire's cause, and yet was biting about its limits: “The heyday of satire was Weimar Germany,” he liked to say; “and look how it stopped Hitler!”

See what Macmillan didn't do is strike back at Cook. Because it would have destroyed him if he got into a slap fight with satirists. The only politician who can do that is Trump. Then again Trump doesn't really get satirised, he's beyond satire. He does attack journalists, but only ones his supporters already think are lying shills.

Medicare explained that away by saying he thought the guy was 19 and was trying to get him in trouble for pedophilia.

Sargon is right to be suspicious of the motivations of the BBC journalists. But he's stupid to only "be suspicious" and not go in to it knowing that it is nothing more than a pre-meditated stitch up designed to cement him in the eyes of normies forever as a weird Internet pervert with a stupid name, unforgivably racist and sexist views and incel Nazi fans. And he's such an egomaniac, he's going to walk right in anyway, thinking he can control it - like Maddox did with Penn and Teller. And, like Maddox, he'll buy in to the friendliness and flattery of the producers, take the rope they provide him with and promptly hang himself with it. There'll be at least one vicious liberal among their young diversity hires who has heard of Kiwi Farms, the streamers and so on. 2016 happened and they know they have to pay attention to the Internet now. They're certainly here already and don't even have to do their own research. And once Sargon has his guard down and the camera is rolling, that's when they ask him about white niggers, saying faggot and all the rest of it.

He obviously thinks he can turn it to his advantage, like Nigel did with the original BBC hit job on him back before his hair was grey. Given how Sargon just got irreversibly rekt by a Youtuber on a superchat shekel budget and a few days' prep, you can't really be too optimistic of him copying the success of Nige.

Sargon wants to be a mature adult political guru who changes the world, so of course the first thing he does is act like a fifth-rate Keemstar and try to stir up e-drama with Jim, who is the person most able to minutely document all the times Sargon throughout his life has done something that would destroy his political aspirations.

This is a good plan, Carl!

This is the typical Sargon fan defense if anyone is curious

Sargon said he turned off chat so he wouldn't make any money off of it... but... he could have kept the chat turned on and have just turned off the ability to send superchats. I've done stream, I've seen the fucking button that does that. It's literally one click.

He knows people in his discord told him LMAO he just didn't want criticism and to be called a soyboy cuck.

In the chat around 6 hours before Sargon started the stream there was some retard who was claiming Jim was a pedophile because all his fans must be 13 year olds. But Sargon would never send out minions from his Discord fortress to prepare the ground for their master. That would be ridiculous and unimaginable.

Understandably that person was laughed out of the room in shame.

wait a sec. Are you saying that Sargon was lying? That his ego couldn't take memes and getting talked back?

So Sargon thinks

"Man my friend Jim is really going to make a lot of money out of this, he is going to make bank from this stream of mine."
*chuckles smugly*
"This one clip will show him for the hypocrite he is, all the while making fat money"
*chuckles in soy*
"ive got him now"
*uploads video and chuckles in smugsoy*

Imagine hating someone so much you give them an opportunity to make thousands of dollars for a few hours of talking back. Sargon truly has the optics of a well-seasoned politician to utilize such strategies.
TBH he could've kept the superchat on and gave the money to some charity, that way he wouldn't look like a pathetic giggling little man.
