I love how some people call YouTube "toxic". I follow a lot of YouTubers who are not lolcows. You know, the kind of people who make videos about their hobbies, or travels, or projects; what could perhaps be called "content". For whatever crazy reason, they don't seem to have the problem Chantal has of toxic replies filling up the comment section. The comments are respectful, they ask questions or offer advice, and add something to the viewing experience. Some of these YouTubers are overweight, but nobody seems to give them grief about it. Maybe the problem is when you make a channel that is "just about me!" If the "content" is only about you, then the commenters will talk about you.
