Kavanaugh being cofirmed, or not, aside, will Dems follow up on this hunt and file a criminal charges at local PD? Or District Attorney? We are talking about sexual assault here, that is criminal. Victim does not have to file charges, anyone with knowledge can.

They already filed it with the local PD, and the local PD pretty much told them to eat it unless they've got anything more substantial to bring to the table. The statute of limitations for rape and sexual assault in that county expired in one year in the 1980s, so they're 30+ years late to that ballgame.

I had a professor who had spent time IN a gulag. His crime? He was accused of being an American spy after a coworker discovered he owned a Glenn Miller record, IIRC. THEN the government kidnapped his son. I don't think he would've agreed with their summer camp ideal.
