Last time I checked, nudity and sexy with women isn't automatically "submissive" or "objectifying." Sex-positive feminists would disagree with the angry blue bear here. (edit: if that's what Tom's implying)

Anyway, he and Homer are both still obsessing about this whole GG drama, only on opposite sides. If they had to be in the same room, the results would be interesting.

I'm kind of a noob to the whole drama, but is Tom more or less an unreliable source of info when it comes to gender issues (like the series of tweets Alan just posted above)? I get the impression that most see him that way. Tom himself mentions "strawman" in that bingo thing above, so if a lot of people are saying that about him...
 
someone should convince dobbers to make an epic wish-fulfillment/pity-me fantasy series pretty much just like sonichu. complete with appropriating shit from his childhood and plonking them in his comic just 'cause.

Hi, first post. I'm curious, and maybe I missed the reason while browsing these 72 pages, but it's been said that Dobson isn't much of a gamer, which I believe. Neither am I, but that's why I basically avoid GamerGate like the plague--because I don't think I fully understand what's going on, and I don't want to sound like an idiot if I were to get involved.

If Dobson isn't really a gamer, other than the occasional Nintendo game, why has he latched onto this so much? Why is he making this controversy such a big part of his identity and his life? He might deny it, but after seeing so many Twitter posts, he's definitely devoting a lot of time to screaming about something he has relatively little control over, and that quite frankly doesn't have much to do with him at all.

Is it to make him seem like a better person? An attempt get women's respect? Or is he just in too deep at this point?

Seriously, what is the deal with Dobby and his avatar? Neither one seems happy, always getting pissed over one thing or another. I'm willing to bet Dobby forgot how to smile in real life.

He needs to light himself a dooby or two.
