Ugh, WPIX outta New York was the only network feed we could pick up reliably in our Podunk of a town, and it played incessantly. At least by the 90's when cable came along and better TV,they realized the 50's era "Here come the Reds! Tune in to CONELRAD!" alerts were passe', especially after the USSR collapsed and they loosened up the regulations and they only had to test it at night or something... it disappeared pretty quick.

These pissbabies will whine about anything as long as they can put it in a triangle with "my feelings hurt" and "Drumpfh!"

I feel bad for all the Verizon reps who are going to spend all day long tomorrow fielding calls from angry customers DEMANDING compensation for having to endure "harassment" or "calls I didn't authorize" or being served lawsuits for causing "emotional distress" such is the :autism: of the modern Reeeeeeeesistor

I wouldn't even be remotely upset if he used that alert system to drop weapons-grade shitposts on the entire country at once. It would lead to an interesting situation; do the triggerkin get rid of their smartphones and slowly become productive members of society, or do they keep them and quake in unending fear, knowing another "episode" is one tap away?

Because Drumf! Surely instead of it being employees sending out notices about emergencies and try to help keep people informed its going to be personally Trump texting people whenever he wants. Seriously though I can't begin to comprehend this leap in logic. Do they think the same thing watching tv when a local alert plays over it?
