Holy shit Enter's pilot script is bad, really bad. Like he has no idea how to not alone properly format a pilot, but write a story, properly build a world, and make it something that people would want to see animated. Also it seems like there's a lot of Random Access Humor which I'm going to assume someone like Enter would hate on a TV show.

To contrast, Roger Ebert (who may do a lot of critiques I disagree with) wrote Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, which is an awesome movie. And a lot of the later American New Wave directors, like Spielberg and Lucas were all huge movie fans growing up, and were known as the Brat Pack due to their childlike passion for movies, much like you could say Enter and Strider have for cartoons. However Enter and Strider take themselves way too seriously to write something as silly as Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, and I doubt they have the ability to collaborate with other writers because their egos are too big/have little to no coping mechanisms for their autism so they can't check their own passion like Spielberg who can create movies for a variety of audiences and seems like a director a lot of people want to work with, or George Lucas during the original Star Wars movies.

The Cosmonaut Variety Hour is the best Angry Gamer/Critic, and I will fight you on that.
He’s straightforward, doesn’t let the jokes be the entire substance of his videos, but when he is joking, you can tell, and it’s hilarious. It really brings a nice balance that so many other critics *cough*MauLer*cough*E;R*cough*Rags*cough*Doug*cough* fail to accomplish.
E;R is the best reviewer on the platform IMO, although this kind of AVGN-based content isn't really my wheelhouse. Specifically it's that frenetic, EmpLemon-ish editing that does it for me. My aspie brain can't get enough of all those flashing colours and loud noises.

I'd say Red Letter Media's Mr. Plinkett reviews are the best review videos. IMHO.

Any fans of Shitcase Cinema?
His English accent takes a while to get used to but his dry humor is brilliant, and he has the occasional skit with his friends which are actually funny! They just come off as a group of friends (or mates, as he's English!) farting around to make fun of shitty films, and sharing the results.

I just discovered him last month and marathoned almost all his videos. He's amazing.

I also like Dark Corners Reviews, another English youtuber who handles similar genres with the odd documentary thrown in for good measure

What I like about Johnny Shitcase is that even with his Youtube being 10-years-old, he doesn't have a set schedule so his videos are more like his hobby, his catchphrases and running gags don't feel forced, and he has done stuff outside his Youtube channel (wrote two novels).

I keep meaning to buy his books. I wonder out of the reviews who are fans of the genre he writes that just happened to come across them, and who are Shitcase fans. In a way I hope it's all/mostly the former, because it makes it seem more "legit", though I have no doubt they're good.
While he has no schedule, you'll probably get a vid at least once every eight weeks, I think it is. They're always worth the wait too, as you said being his hobby they're not "churned out" or just done to meet a regular target, you can tell he (and sometimes his friends) have come across a movie and decided it needs to be Shitcased!
I was in one of the 'compilation' things in one of his anniversary videos #claimtofame

Larry mentioned that Andrew had autism in a previous video. He called that other weird looking guy a Frankenstein's Monster.

I know but I would have liked Fred or someone to confirm that they really do have autism. I know it's obvious but I just would have liked 100% confirmation.
