Trashfire The BetterHelp, CreatorHealth, InfluenceLogic Rabbit Hole - Candid 2.0, brought to you by Joel Robbinson

Here it is:

It was just as boring and safe as i expected. He trusted defranco (so easy to blame him lol) and asked for a sponsorship from betterhelp. It's "not a pr move" but he is donating the money to charity.

Nothing useful here but one interesting detail was that Boogie said he doesn't know how many memberships he sold. This has to be a lie right? Boogie said a number during killstream and he also receives xxx dollars per sell so there is no way doesn't know how many he sold.

I dont know why he would lie about this, either because he is not legally allowed to say or to not reveal how many people he scammed.

edit: Boogie also said he used betterhelp for 6 weeks. Another lie considering he tweeted about using it for 2 months. https://twitter.com/Boogie2988/status/1047693356715986945

Hmm, maybe there is more i don't see? Why even lie about this, is he just making numbers up?

Oh wut is this..? So Boogie DID know! BOOGIE KNEW IT WAS DeFraudo AND still sat in that killstream acting like he had no idea??

For fucks sake, can he not just be straight and 100% honest with things? I WANTED TO BELIEVE BOOGIE. But this is the last time I take anything boogie says seriously. I thought he might have been a sliver of honesty in that killstream but it was just a fucking act.

It's a PR move though. And there is no way I'll ever see an act like this as anything but a PR move though.

I mean I just said it, but I'm not believing boogie ever again. It's always a half truth. So what's the half truth in this? Welll I think he DOES know the amount. I don't think there is any doubt about how many people, and I think the half we are missing is the fast that boogie said he'd be donating $2k to charity. SO I'm going to assume he had about 10 sign ups.

Maybe he had a few more, but I don't think it would be much higher than 10 total.

I think the most likely case is that Phil said don't talk about how poeple are signing up, and / or how much they are paying per sign up.

Phil did provide an e-mail address for this topic at the end of today's video. Has anyone tried sending a concise breakdown of this thread's details?

Boogie said he saw defranco promoting, trusted him and signed from his link. He probably didn't want to name point his finger on Defrancy on stream, but now he has because it's easy as fuck to just say "i saw someone more important do it so i wanted too".

How the hell do you "still dont know that for sure"?

I know it's a pr move. I was making fun of the fact that Boogie explicitly says "This is NOT a PR move".

On other stuff, Boogie tweeted this

Did he say previously he started on another date that isn't June 8? Cause i don't know if Boogie promoted betterhelp exactly 6-8 weeks after using them. Gotta find his videos.

Also, Bette Blondin was another name i saw on this thread, but this might be a coincidence. https://www.betterhelp.com/bette-blondin/

I want to know *where did he get the link form ?*

If phil gave it awway, this is all on him, especially with the personal connection. But I don't think it was Phil he talked with, that side of the story isn't fully adding up to me. I think there's a 3rd person here who brought the whole betterheatlth thing to youtube, and got Phil on board with it and then with his name behind it it was an easy way to convince other youtubers it was genuine.

Phil's just maxing out however he can, boogie got caught in the middle, but he isn't doing himself any favors. And I think there's another person who wanted to grow this on youtube.

But who

Boogie said on the Killstream that his brand manager or something like that set it up. It's completely possible that DeFranco was the one the brand manager was talking to and who set it up.

I can't say I exactly hate PhillyD, but there's no denying that this is some shady shit and he's going ot need to do more than just make response videos to it all.

I'm interested in seeing how this all plays out, since personally I kind of liked Phil. Though this developing further depends on him playing ball.

Sargon was also good at reading the news.

Sargon is the right size to survive this stuff but PhillyD is even larger. If this turns out to be horrifyingly bad, he'll probably chug along like the FineBros since he has an audience that probably doesn't care.

It's possible, however if there's actual legal issues that come out from it because of a failure to disclose such information (as required by the FTC) then he may be removed from YouTube, Twitter, etc.

So we need to take action via FTC complaints about his business practices. Should we collect all his infractions and compile the evidence in one post?

Would also be helpful, if we may bring this whole thing to some law channels like lawful masses/leonard french and rakieta law.

Furthermore, it is clear that DeFranco is trying to bury the story and dodging the hard questions via deflecting and also using his 'perceived integrity' compared to other youtubers like Keemstar(who, lets not kid ourselves, is oftentimes a bumbling and agitated idiot).

For his 'indie' journalist, I either expect someone that is in his pocket or someone he picks, that may have his heart in the right place, but has none of the professionalism and PR Training(and resources), thus killing his criticism and credibility embarassing him in the investigation.

I think he's going to do a livestream on this topic again at 8 PM EST Tuesday. Not sure if it'll be about Phil though.

Nearly 2 hours in, and Jim's digging into Defranco and Betterhelp on the Killstream. He even said at one point that he'll be shitting on Defranco in the days to come.

*1 hour 59 minutes

EDIT: Old, but relevant:

Yeah, Jim mentioned waiting for World Mental Health Day, which is the 10th, so Wednesday. Of course he'd wait for that day. I mean, how could you not.

He didn't even use it for 6 weeks. Maximum 11 days.

boogie was lying in the killstream

His first ad I can find was June 18, 2018 https://archive.is/DA1jD

He said he started to use it on June 7, that's a 11 days not 6 week like he said in the stream or 2 month which he tweeted between trying and shilling it.

Most likely he contacted his manager asking for a betterhelp sponsorship, used the product for the 11 days it took them to get the contract ironed out & made his video.

Gonna :powerlevel: for a second but as someone who worked for the FTC many years back, these complaints go into the virtual equivalent to a waste basket no one looks into. Don't bother with this method at all.

Do we know his actual position/business relationship in Rogue Rocket and how it relates to his youtube channel/show? He may not have violated any regulations by reading the BH spots on his show without disclosing the Rogue Rocket ad placement partnership with BH. It would still be pretty fucking scummy, but not necessarily illegal.
