Trashfire The BetterHelp, CreatorHealth, InfluenceLogic Rabbit Hole - Candid 2.0, brought to you by Joel Robbinson

I for one cannot believe Pewdiepie would use known illegal terrorism forum Kiwi Farms to defame an innocent website just because they lied about the legitimacy of their services, preyed on the mentally unstable fanbase of shill YouTubers who make awful content who don't do research on the things they promote, and will sell confidential therapy sessions to advertisers for money!
You'll never get away with this, @Null!

I didn't realize there were that many shills. I'm starting to think this might be a government program in order to find future school shooters and other crazies.

Most big youtubers are shills. They are the new emerging entertainment class, with product deals, promotional tie ins, bringing in their buddy for an episode to boost their sub numbers and viewercount. What do you think they want out of it? Fame, Money, Recognition, Influence.

Uh, I think all people even outside of YouTube would like or desire those things.

So how many of the people here could have a daily or weekly youtube channel they regularly upload to? If you start now, and do your research, keep on top of the trends and internet news, I'm sure in 2-4 years you'll be set. What's stopping you? I mean if someone like Boogie can do it, then surely you can.

So whats the big roadblock?

Not being a disgusting piece of garbage nobody wants to look at.

Well, I mean, the Slaton Sistere got a few YouTube bucks, right? Maybe there is hope for us all to one day be able to scam vulnerable people out of cash.

If you wanted to be a "principled" youtuber, you probably would've wanted to get in at the early days like PewDiePie and DeFranco. Back before suggestions from youtube weren't so obviously weighted towards youtube networks that likely pay youtube under the table for top suggestion status. Then resist the temptation to sellout to various networks that offer you lucrative contract deals that get you so excited about the money that you don't read the fine print.

Or you end up starting up your own network and being at the top of the pyramid scheme yourself. A lot of these people are always thinking about youtube metrics. What's the "right" keywords, when is the "right" time to upload, what are the "right" topics to cover, what things to avoid so I can ensure no de-monetization flagging so I can get the maximum amount of revenue, which happens right after upload? How long should I make my videos so I get people to watch at least one ad before they move on?

Mine is having a job.

Same, besides, the delusion of making it big on youtube, is like the delusion of becoming a platinum selling musician, nba pro player or any other "selfmade" millionaire on a whim. There are factors, such as inherent talent, luck etc. that cannot be outweighed with discipline and work ethic. It's more like discovering your own passions and how these passions align with your talents. Like if you wanna sing so bad like Michael Jackson, but your voice is croaky like Steve Urkel, you gotta be realistic.

Algorithms, Trends, Competition, Attention Span - etc. are all factors out of your reach, if you now decide to launch a channel, especially long term viability. You may cash out like a mill or two like LeafyIsHere, but burn out, because your concept was stale and relied on the same formula. And then what? Forced to reinvest that cash in other ventures, but what if you are financially inept or make the wrong investment or get ripped off by leeches and fake friends? I prefer a steady job with career opportunities, over such risky ideas.

If he isn't already, PhillyD should be seriously comprehending the world of shit that's about to come down ontop of him.

From the fans of his I've spoken to, they seem to of bought his video about it, but when people like Pewdiepie start pointing fingers at the sponsorship along with statements like "Hey, don't take this shit sponsorship" it's gonna be time to disavow and run for cover.

Lets see what third party journalist he chooses too, fifty bucks says they'll be on shakey ground too.

It'll be Shane Dawson

It'll be Shane Dawson
Is it confirmed then? I've been seeing names like Dawson or Neistat floating around, but that would be a j0ke, bias aside, DeFranco is friends with these guys, Shane was/is part of the BH scam and the softest "investigative" journalist I know, who would even be afraid to ask an intervieweé if his tea was cold, if that would mean discomfort, see how he lat Tana Mongloid off the hook after her scam.

It really is ironic though, since DeFranco himself made fun of an ABC interview, where the interviewer just asked softball-questions while conversing with Logan about the corpse situation - so taking Shane on, would be somewhat befitting of his hypocritical nature. Also, I've seen the DeFranco reddit. I don't know how much it represents the real fanbase of his, but people there seem pissed, not because of the BH thing mainly, but because he used his Elite-funds to startup his scam-agency, instead of making a News Network.

I liked Phil and I'm pretty disappointed with this whole thing. The only way he comes out of this not looking like a complete sellout douchebag is if he was doing the ad thing to get more revenue for the news thing, he apologizes for not disclosing he was doing the ad thing, he apologizes for not disclosing the BH ad placement partnership, he apologizes to the people he placed BH spots with, and he uses this interview with BH to publicly expose them further. Not :optimistic: about that happening though.

Been looking at some of the youtubers to see if they removed the betterhelp referral after the PDP video dropped. So far, Gibi did not put the betterhelp referral link in her latest video which is Devilish triggers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7ft3E_VR0o (The BetterHelp referral is still present on her other videos)

It saddens me that Gibi is shilling this shit too and won't release a statement.
I've been watching her videos since beginning of 2017 and in the last few months shes getting heavily into sponsorship's.
It seems like she doesn't give a fuck about her fans as long as they bring her shittons of money, but that's just my opinion

But the person I'm happiest for is memology. His channel is blowing up, and I hope it really helps him, who knows how long this would've taken if it werent for him making his videos. Also he is an extremely nice guy, he deserves it.

I was just being sarcastic. If it really does turn out to be bloody Dawson, then DeFranco really is a cretin.
