Unpopular Opinions about Video Games

The first Five Nights at Freddy's was a legitimately different, interesting little game and Scott Cawthon was probably right to tard cum the dumbass audience that spawned for every penny.
Fun fact about Scott, he was originally only going to make one FNAF but after all the fanfic lore and theories about the history he basically just took everything written and copied it word for word. It's hilarious that none of the underaged mouthbreathers that play his games realize he's just waiting for them to write his games for him.

I don't think FF7 was very good and thought 8 was better.

I loved Otomedius: Excellent more than Gradius V. I want to own every copy of that game, like that Jerry Maguire VHS store in New York.

Personally, I think Megaman Zero is the best spinoff series that came from the Megaman franchise and I actually enjoy the Zero games more than the main/core games. MMZ3 and MMZ4 being my favorites.

I'm sort of taking a "wait and see" approach for Fallout 76. I'm not anticipating it, nor do I have the desire to preorder it, but if the game allows for a decent enough solo experience and if the content is interesting, I might consider getting it at a later date.

What can I say, I'm a glutton for 3D Fallout games, so sue me.

but if the game allows for a decent enough solo experience and if the content is interesting
All signs point towards it being a multiplayer-focused player-driven "experience" with little actual story content or roleplaying. PASS.

That actually is more of a general consensus when it comes to the game from what I've seen. There's so many ways Bethesda can fuck it up that anyone whose just mindlessly hyped for it will most likely be disappointed with.

I thought it was an "unpopular" opinion since people here and on Reddit have more or less disowned the game.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a bit foolish to think the game will be all sunshine and rainbows, but I think it does have some things going for it (like an interesting world and the amount of new weapons to use). I honestly don't really know what to make of it, hence me waiting for some impressions after it comes out.

I think that Devil May Cry 1 is still a fun game, but its mechanics are aging kinda badly. The camera is especially bad, and the controls feel somewhat clunky, especially jumping.

I think I can agree with your sentiment. I believe it will be a poor Fallout game but it could still be a decent Wasteland exportation and survival game. I played Ark for a bit by myself maybe I'll do the same with 76 in the future.

Who knows, it might make for an okay Christmas purchase if it goes on sale and the launch kinks are ironed out.

Super Meat Boy has objectively poor control for a platformer, it all just feels too inconsistent and floaty at times.

You are stupid and bad at the video game, super meat boy's controls are perfectly precise and consistent. There's nothing objective about what you said.

except i've completed the entire game and spent hours upon hours getting all the achievements on it including the (PAINFUL) Cotton Alley no-deaths. i still can't say i prefer it at all when games like N++ exist which have much more fluid and properly-weighted controls in my opinion.

If your complaint was about the level design that'd be fine, you could argue that the game requires a huge amount of precision that most people couldn't achieve and that'd be fair, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with how the game controls.

i suppose part of it might just be that N was one of my first platformers and that SMB feels way too light in comparison, if you get me. idk, i can still tolerate it but i wouldn't say it's 100% fluid or anything.
