i have a feeling phil likes wrestling because it's big, manly, and macho.
it doesn't have girly spooky moments where characters are scared, or have girly feelings.
and the plots are simple and safe, and don't require much thinking (so he doesn't get lost while drinking gin)

I'm pretty sure he likes pro wrestling because every guy his age loved Hogan in the 80s, then loved it even more in the late 90s/early 2000s when the Attitude Era came around.
Most people change and stop following it, but Phil is still stuck in 2004.

I want to give my theory on DSPs mentality.

I can't tell if he's a smart guy playing stupid, or a r e t a r d pretending to be just stupid. The moves he makes are usually counter-productive. I would understand if DarkSydePhil was just a persona and he was actually a good person behind the scenes, but if DSP is just a persona I haven't seen him break character in a gameplay, vlog, or rant video for the entire 10 years he's been on YouTube.

I've never met a person who I've already had low expectations for continuously go lower than I expect on a monthly basis. It's mind boggling.

I believe he is truly the person we see and that's why with the late night drunk tweets, no friends, a recluse, and a girlfriend with the personality of a chalk board tells me he is just a miserable fuck. Nobody should envy, be jealous, or support a guy like that.

in other news water is wet. But seriously the moves he makes are counter productive because hes a dumb ass. We all do dumb shit, sometimes we make bad choices we know we shouldn't, but the average person usually has consequences for their actions and learn from it to a degree.

This is not the case with dave, hes spent the last 10 years being rewarded no matter if he makes the right or wrong decision. Hes spent these years in a safe space and as such has stopped growing/maturing as a person, its why you can look at his older videos and see a drastic change from how he used to be to how he is now, hes gotten so much worse its kinda scary. Its years of him getting his way doing the minimal amount of effort, and getting his way when throwing tantrums, hes a lazy, spoiled child. Add the massive ego hes seemed to have been born with and you get hi toxicity and mental gymnastics that make him convinced something is never his fault.

Soulmaid doesn't count anymore. At this point, I'm sure she's just as sick of his brainless babble as we are. Imagine calling your parents, at least once a week, with NOTHING new to tell them about your life, EVER, for YEARS. I'd be depressed af too. But he chose this life. This is what he wants. To die in that town house gated off from everyone having no real, meaningful impact on anything in this world outside of his mindless consumption of unneeded products.

Codes aren't instantly delivered. Sometimes it can take up to a week from when you accept the bounty to when you get the code from Twitch. Not saying that's definitely what happened here, but it's a possibility. Give it another day or two and see if he mentions anything about it.

More than one streamer I follow has had to buy a copy of a game separately because their free code was taking too long to arrive.

Remember the first few weeks after Kat moved in Phil would say she calmed him down or gave him advice like shutting the fuck up about taxes on a daily basis. She gave up on that pretty fast. Now all you hear about her is a vague outline of her work schedule. Kinda similar to Leanna near the end.

Maybe our December poll should be if Phil is going to reach into the medicine cabinet and pull out the engagement band aid for Christmas to try to get a few extra months out of this thing. Side bet can include if it's the same ring he gave Leanna.

Phil kept losing because he doesnt know how to do a specific move, as he skipped tutorial, and instead of going to command list and trying to learn, he PAUSED the game here amid of the stream.........
