Fantasy, as OP clarifies in a reblog they are talking about that Dragon Prince thing.I’m not entirely sure what they’re complaining about here. What cliché stories do they mean?

So now it’s entirely impossible to enjoy a piece of media if it isn’t pandering to someone’s identity politics. I guess by this logic, it’s impossible for anyone who’s not black to enjoy Black Panther.Fantasy, as OP clarifies in a reblog they are talking about that Dragon Prince thing.

I've seen a lot of gay and lesbian Tumblr users add that gif of Jodie Foster (I'm pretty sure that's Jodie) to show their sexuality and it ALWAYS creeps me out because she has to be about 12 years old there.

It creeps me out in general that they always add that underage girl gif to their "I'm so gay" posts.
There's enough millennial's with shit humor. Don't mix in superheroes to try and project your 'highbrow' humor. I'm just going to wait for them to redesign Peter as a fat black tranny.
You’re implying these guys read comic books, or really anything outside of Harry Potter.>Intellectual™ White Supremacist
What, you can't name The Red Skull? Or Hatemonger?
You’re implying these guys read comic books, or really anything outside of Harry Potter.
Wait, is this guy implying furries and fursuiters are villains in the fashion bit?
I actually have seen some people on tumblr including non or self proclaimed autistics talking about low functioning ones as well but they all say things like "even autistic people with more needs are not a burden and if you think of them as such you are horrible/ableist/etc" their reasoning is they can't possibly be burdens since every person has its value simply by being human and any disability shouldn't change that. Sadly this isn't reality and low f autistics are burdens for their families in many ways like you said most notably in the emotional/psychological and finacial way. They are human and most likely are loved by their family but this doesn't change the burden.Anime avatar is right though. Mental illness and autism are comparable. You have people who are stable and in treatment for mental illness who work hard, contribute to society and take care of themselves. Then you have bipolar cases who burn all their bridges, get high every day, everything around them is on fire and they refuse to change. They are adults and you can force to be compliant. You can only watch them spiral out of control, or enable them and neither of the options really help them.
You also have autistics who got early intervention, are high on the spectrum, are in treatment for their co-morbid mental illnesses, and do great things in the field of their obsessions. On one hand you have pants shitting, low functioning autistics who can only bang their heads against a wall and scream all day. Unlike an unmedicated mentally ill person you are obligated to take care of a low functioning autistic. Getting them into a place that will take them off your hands in unfeasible for most people, when the autistic's parents die, the autistic's siblings will have to care for them. This is a multi decade commitment.
Untreated mental illness is at best an emotional burden, low functioning autism is financial, emotional, and psychical burden. The thing is that your child doesn't even have to be extremely low functioning to be a burden, just look at Chris. He could live on his own and be independent () if his parent didn't shelter him. The same can be said for mental illness, sometimes treatment doesn't mitigate some's symptoms. I've seen it first hand, and it's horrible.
TL;DR- Mental illness and autism is a spectrum. Some times it can be a burden, sometimes not. Tumblr needs to stop acting like high functioning autism is the only reality, and even then high functioning autistics can still be a drain when they do not get the help they needed.
There was a really sad ask reddit thread on parents who have low functioning children. One theme with parents who have low functioning autistic children is that they are violent. Imagine having to stay at home as a 5 foot nothing woman with your 6'5" 300 pound adult son who can and will beat you to death. You don't know what will set him off, maybe it's the vacuum, maybe his shirt is itchy, maybe you asked him to come take a bath, but you know you will knocked to floor and punched in the head at once a week. You beg everyone do something, anything, you can only send him to temporary inpatient treatment but he always must come back home and cycle continues. This is the reality of many parents.I actually have seen some people on tumblr including non or self proclaimed autistics talking about low functioning ones as well but they all say things like "even autistic people with more needs are not a burden and if you think of them as such you are horrible/ableist/etc" their reasoning is they can't possibly be burdens since every person has its value simply by being human and any disability shouldn't change that. I don't like matyr parents or parents that will expose their autistic child tantrum only for internet asspats but I don't like when people say family/caregivers have to just put up with anything an autistic child do because it's 'natural' for them.
sorry double post butView attachment 563806
Yeah, definitely.
View attachment 563807I like how they just can't decide if they want to be a boy or girl so they have one male and one female name and are like "just use any pronouns".
Yes, I just think they are fairly insensitive when they talk about how parents should just suck it up and deal with bad behaviors with a smile on their face (such as bedwetting, hurting themselves and others, destroying objects, etc)There was a really sad ask reddit thread on parents who have low functioning children. Hell, even high functioning autistics can be violent. I have met many from low to high, I have two high functioning ones who near and dear to me, but even then they both can be violent. They are still two very sweet, caring people.
To feel like a special confused snowflake. Why even bother listing pronouns if you're okay with any of them?
Wait, is this guy implying furries and fursuiters are villains in the fashion bit?
Also, isn't a stereotype for gay guys to be sassy and into fashion?
Is the maker of this post a white cishet teen girl who knows nothing of actual representation and character so they fall back on broad generalizations?
I think so.
tfw you think being gay is a personality.
