This is a very good idea since Gamergate has since evolved past Zoe Quinn and Depression Quest. I'd actually suggest to Saney to drop Depression Quest from the title entirely.

I should also take this opportunity to post this image since we're going to get a bunch of people who'll not understand what Gamergate is. Even though this image is pretty outdated it provides a fairly basic view of the movement.

I honestly would say to move it to general too but... meh. Very good thread, I use it to keep up to date on what the hell is happening with gamergate stuff. I really woulden't be able to keep track otherwise.

I gave up on the last thread about 100 pages back, did ANYTHING of note happen or is it just people bitching on twitter?

Our hate must not be what defines us, and many of us do not hate. Those of us that do must cast it out, and show our opponents that we are not going to be silenced and labelled for what they think we are. We have a lot of work to do.

EDIT: Thanks for the Autistic Ratings. Believe it or not it's kind of what I expected/was going for. A pseudo-inspirational thing that kind of needed to be said if you ask me.

I thought the same about the EDF2 thread. Than I remembered the nature of EDF2 community and realized that any SJW wouldn't last 5 minutes. It is literally an anti-hugbox.

As for this place, they probably see that there's too high a volume of pro-gg's, so they couldn't dogpile any of us, we'd just dogpile them instead if they tried, dogpile them with facts and logic.

That's a given but that's the thing, they always DO try. Look at all of them. I'm just saying its weird how we haven't gotten a single post from them at all before they gave up.

Quite a bit actually happened. This thing's been so hard to follow for those who haven't been tracking it actively because so many things happen on a routine basis.

There was some pretty damning info dug up, as listed by several. Gawker's lost about 30 million dollars from Operation Disrespectful Nod and counting, there was some minor Literally Who infighting recently, and McIntosh said more silly things. Zoe Quinn thanked Gamergaters for fighting doxxing attempts, Based Mom posted some stuff, Sargon discovered the source of the "Gamer is Dead" articles and the toxic ideology behind them, and Brianna Wu had a meltdown on national television.

There's also the whole Celebrinando thing, wherein Gamergate dug up a serial threatener and harasser of Anita Sarkeesian, publicly exposed him, and the response to attempts to get her handlers to press charges against the guy were met with blockings, ergo showing that the Sarkeesian campaign does not care about harassment anywhere near as much as it says it does.

And that's just for the last month. This has been a wild ride.

They won't come here. They see what the Kiwi Farm was willing to chronicle about Chris and they know their hugbox echo chamber bullshit won't fly here. If they do, they will be the next one added to the ongoing pile of Autism that is the lolcows we've Chronicled. None of them can afford the sort of in-depth analysis we give the likes of Golden Knight or Jace.
