He must have been a completely abject fuckup. A lot of universities won't let that happen and if you have an even remotely acceptable GPA, will just say fuck it and slap a General Studies degree on you and tell you to GFTO already.

I think it really says something that Wu, after ten years of failing college, hasn't gone to one of those online degree mills which pretty much hand you a degree so long as you put in minimal work and pay through the nose (or so I've heard). The emphasis being minimal work because Wu won't even do that.
