What actually constitutes doxing, to them, is malleable. If it happens to them, then archiving their tweets, screenshotting a public Facebook page or entering their name into Google is doxing.
If they're doing it, all that's fine, and for it to be doxing requires posting threats about their children, access to secret databases or, like, going to a local library in the victim's hometown and looking through microfiche. Anything they can do without paying money wouldn't count as them being one of those evil doxers.

Hmm, we'll see. I don't have an active Twitter account, so I can't check, but I find it improbable that they made it easy for someone, even a boomer, to delete all their tweets in one fell swoop.

I think it's more likely that he, like Nerkish, got spooked by the idea of determined autists trolling through his timeline for PII and misconstruable quotes.
