It looks like they're trying to build up DLive as a platform, Andy Warski is going to try it out. Since there's a lot of overlap, it'll bring others. He's even mentioned that Vee was poking around. Ralph has a big following and even the people who hate him, if they're smart, would be looking to change over their streaming options.

I think the election stream is going to bring new viewers. The thing is if they get pressure from hosting services.

My main worry is that its becoming surprisingly easy to 'unperson' you and more and more are willing to do it, and I really don't know how to fight against it. It benefits government, it benefits corporation, the only ones it doesn't benefit are the people.

We're rapidly heading towards a dystopia where only right think is allowed.

If that's the case, he should also chip in for a ship and stream in international waters.

Pay Zidan is a meme. He already pays him. Its why Zidan never had superchats enabled on his post stream, because it would have been double dipping.

You called me stupid? You're kindo dimwitted yourself! Get the hell out the basement and breath in some fresh air. There is a real world outside your little bubble.

How many times have you stated the obvious, that youtube is trying to become msm. So what? Do you think all people around you are as limited as you? Don't you think youtube kicking all the special interest groups and big think LARPers is a great opportunity for other platforms? But Ralph and Warski won't be the foundation. They are nobodies!

Heading towards dystopia? You my good man are a snowflake!:tumblr:

The site opened a month ago and wants to grow and make money. It instantly got an audience of 2-5k on a website nobody knew existed. Monetization is through Bitcoin. This is not going to work.
It isn't monetized through bitcoin, it's monetized through their own "Lino points".
Unfortunately, said Lino points are only purchasable via Paypal, so it still isn't going to work. R.I.P.

I agree that he might be overstating their influence but Ralph and Andy both have a decent audience.

The Killstream brings in thousands of viewers whenever it's on which is decently impressive for a livestream.

Well, allright then ....but.... You agree with my point but find it dumb. There is got to be a "but" somwhere.

People like Ralph, Andy and even Veeh are good starting blocks for the business and will move a number of smaller youtuber to stream using the site, however the growth from them will only take any site so far and they alone can not make the site expended beyond that group's niche.

I have to disagree. As soon as those guys finds a safe harbour where only the most extreme lefty will find them "problematic" the rest of us normies will get bored and drop off. Ralph and the other noname dramaqueens are just funny when they stir shit up on youtube.

Hope I'm wrong.

How does that disagree with anything I said?

I don't think Ralph, Andy and Vee are good starting blocks and I explain why. Maybe you did too?
Didn't get that from what you wrote, seemed more like you thought they will only have a short term success and they lose viewers in the way Donka and others have, which is a statement I agree with, don't see Ralph keeping up this viewership for more than a year and thus why I believe they are a good starting block for Dlive to get more exposure however they can't rely solely on that niche group.

Maybe we do agree to some level.:) I do believe he will have some short time success, but I don't believe that makes him a good starting block. The new platform whatever that will be has to reach some kind of critical mass to survive. I don't think Ralph and the guys have that strong of a pull.

But again, hope I'm wrong. I do think they have talent, unlike donga, the fat waiter and Fred Flinstone. I even think Vee have some talent and should get his tongue out of the fat waiters ass before it's to late. He actually had an interesting stream last night.

it was done using the 'superchat for good' feature, so it actually went directly to the charity through youtube's system set up to do so, so he never got to see the money at all.

Drugs for children with cancer, yes, because it was going to the charity via youtube's feature, not Ralph promising to donate the revenue
well thats pretty shitty then

even if RR is an ass that was charity money

If you're referring to Dlive, they've actually been up and running for about a year. Their announcement post on the Steem blockchain was done on October 27, 2017.

It was around late September that they relaunched with the Lino blockchain, though.

It really depends on who else they can get and how youtube plays things from now on.
If youtube keeps increasing the censorship then they might see some decent growth.
Twitch isn't much better than youtube in terms of that.

It appears that DLive discord mods got salty about Ralph dropping 'Nigger' on his stream and booted him from the Discord. So he's sort of getting mixed messages. So I wonder how long he'll be there, though he said many others came forward.

Not really surprising. I think they might want to have a more distant and professional relationship with Ralph. I highly doubt they want to turn into the next website that all the "alt-right" flocks too.Between the spergy audience and the bad press its just going to become a clusterfuck to deal with.
