Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

And why should NYC-based Jules care about a bunch of high schoolers from a small town in a flyover state? They're all disgusting, reprehensible, utterly forgettable places full of racist, uneducated simpletons and yokels anyhow, right?

No. The unclean and the heretic must be purged wheresoever you find them. Those who will not purge the unclean, shall be purged with the unclean.

Everybody say hello to the new face of teenage rebellion:

So... wait a minute... the photographer told them to for real do a nazi salute, just for the fun of it? I was waiting for the innocuous explanation, but it doesn't seem there is one.

I mean, obviously people are clutching their pearls and racing to the head of the oppression points line, but this just seems so stupid. Like... why?

Friends used to do it all the time in the military. Even black comrades-in-arms. Just a fucking joke. More outrage mining from the histrionic Left.

Wait a minute. Since when does the teddy bear have some kind of terrible, dark history? As far as I know, the toy rose to popularity after Teddy Roosevelt refused to shoot a bear cub on a hunting trip. To me that seems like a feel-good, "save the animals" kind of story. Of course, it does involve guns and hunting, which are very problematic. I'm not sure I want to live in a world where even the most innocuous children's toy is considered oppressive. At least Emperor Cheeto will be the latest in a long line of evil dictators who were completely obliterated by stuffed animals.

Teddy Roosevelt was all that was man and big on environmental conservation. There is literally nothing dark and sordid about the teddy bear and The New Republic is just shit stirring for easy clicks.

Like most men of his era his fervently believed in Manifest Destiny which makes him evil because the modern left despises patriotism in any form.

They're probably referring to the part of the story where Teddy ordered the mercy killing of the unfortunate bear.

I don't see the problem, but soycritters probably differ.
On November 14, 1902, Roosevelt was helping settle a border dispute between Mississippi and Louisiana. During his spare time, he attended a bear hunt in Mississippi. During the hunt, Roosevelt came upon a wounded young bear and ordered the mercy killing of the animal.
That is literally the most humane thing they could have done given the circumstances and no amount of "B-b-b-b-but why didn't they call a veterinarian!? Surely those existed!" can change that fact. Sure they could try and get a vet out there in what could be several hours or even days, to care for a severely wounded animal that would have ( if not already) developed a massive infection, and/or bled out in absolute agony.

If you've ever read Chomsky's take on Teddy you'd think Teddy was Satan incarnate because of his "big stick diplomacy" and his willingness to work with more countries on a global level, like him serving as mediator between the Japanese and Russians during the Russo-Japanese War, and Teddy carrying the belief of the "white man's burden" when it came to introducing more primitive people to more modern western civilization. But Teddy is probably one of the most interesting American presidents, more than earning his spot on Mt. Rushmore.

Seriously fuck all these people in the replies to this tweet:

Prime example of an NPC just knowing Stan as a comics guy. Here's a tip for the sped running this account, Stan was Marvel, not DC:

So far the most common NPC reply today is multiple variations of "Stan Lee is gone and Orange Man is still alive.":
