There wasn't a set prompt for the conversation and it was meant to be a pretty general discussion, them asking for proof of the claim is entirely reasonable as discussion could branch off from there regardless of accuracy. His instinct that they were trolling him was correct, but if you're going to get that defensive over something as basic as showing proof for a claim that would take a couple minutes at most to back up then it makes you look far worse than them, trolling or not.

Its the sort of thing he should know off hand since he brands himself as the saviour of the west, slaying them communist thots.

The US is bizarre in this aspect. Polls have indicated that most people are perfectly fine with socialist policies when you don't call it socialism (especially when it's related to health care). I partially blame that on the older generation still being triggered by the cold war.

I also think you underestimate how deeply people drink the Kool aid. You could have said the exact same thing about Obama and he turned out to be president.

Also, Bernie didn't fully sell out, which is why you have the Hillary camp so angry at him. One specific thing he never did was give away his mailing list to Hillary so she could shill to them. You can argue he needed up playing ball by a combination of being threatened by the dnc and believing trump to be a bigger threat, there were certainly a lot of Bernie supporters that ended up pushing for Hillary even though they hated her guys.

It is suspected the reason Sargon went after Harmful was to protect many of the people in this group because it would hurt skeptics as a whole if they were exposed as sell out whores too dumb to negotiate contracts. If that came out it would make Sargon look like shit. It will also make her look like shit if she begged skeptics to run defense for her.
2) Sh0e has an army of thirsty betas and Skeptic. Skeptic has been pretty weak lately but he knows how to strike blows when need be and there is no way to get around going against both if he attacks her.
3) Sh0e kinda but not really got hurt by Venti's vids. At the end of the day it exposed what everyone already thought, she is an attention whore for money and her bf over manages her "brand". Sargon would just be covering old shit.

Sh0e seems sick of the skeptics too cause all she wanted to do was shit on feminism and laugh at dumb stuff and they wanted to make change in politics. If I'm being sadly honest, I'm not enough of an autist to want to watch 3 hours of people throwing paper abstracts back and forth. Not only because it's boring as hell if you haven't already read the source (Miss Paladin, I'm talking to you) but also people have a tendency to quote a paper and then *poof* they treat it like it's TRUTH which leads to a spergy and boring converstation.

It's even worse if the other side has their own collection of studies to start a sperg war on P-values n' shit. I'd rather they be polite and explain themselves and only quote studies in proper context and briefly. And not treat it like TRUTH (remeber how that went for Alt-hype).

Not really anything new from what I gathered, but the interesting things were basically noticing behaviors others have been pointing out lately.

1) Using an associate to gain access to a stream or conversation which he just happened to drop into. (He used Louis to ambush Jim in the same sort of way.)

2) Trying to bait someone, and when getting shut down, changing the conversation topic in order to avoid having to admit he is either wrong, or using excuses about not having time to research it.

3) Citations needed! But not actually being able to provide evidence himself, and when asked to do so, basically being a bitch about it, and pulling the if you can't be civil then we can't have a conversation routine.

They also noted how odd the out of the blue attack from Sargon came from, because it wasn't provoked, and reeked of desperation for an easy win.

To be honest, the comment made in the Vee thread (which really should be merged with this one since they're basically two sides of the same coin) about how you might want to like Vee but can't because he is so special is true for me. I'd like to like Vee, his awful disgusting-sounding accent aside, if he didn't have a severe case of the autism and blinded by his misplaced doggish loyalty to Carl Benjamin, he seems like he could be a decent guy. Maybe one day Sargon will fuck him over in a way that Vee simply can't forgive and maybe he'll become cured of his autism. I doubt it though.

I don't think whatever Vee has can be cured. To his credit he is able to take a hit and keep on going, but even if Sargon were to throw Vee under the bus. I don't think Vee would be able to recover from it, he is so firmly entrenched in that camp that, literally if I recall the first time I heard of Vee it was because he had made a movie that Sargon had posted. It was basically an apologizing defense for the stupid thing that Sargon had done, and I remember thinking at the time, who the literal hell is this person, and what rock did he climb out from under?
