Angry Customer Destroys GameStop Store Over Inability To Return ‘Fallout 76’

You all continue to make me most Angry with this Most Criminal Of Changes In History EVER!!!
You Either Recall EVERYTHING of the New Fallout 76, RIGHT NOW, or I will Seriously (not) DESTROY GAMESTOP and Seriously (WILL) Watch You All At BETHESDA DIE from this Heinous Of Crimes EVER!!!

GameStop stores all transactional data on the local workstation which then gets sent off to the corporate offices once the closing key holder ‘closes’ the business. This includes all receipt information. It may have taken some time to investigate because no matter how shitty the product is, it is selling. If that customer had purchased the game from that location, the store manager could’ve taken the time to try to find the gentleman’s receipt - that’s why an associate will ask you for your GameStop Rewards card information upon every transaction.

A common practice in attempt to get some ill-gotten gains is to buy the games off of the friendly neighborhood disgruntled UPS truck driver for cheap, and try to hock them off and Wal-Mart and GameStop, anyone who may offer more cash than what you had paid. GameStop rarely will ever issue a full cash return for an opened product (even if you buy the ‘sleeve’/floor copy), but will gladly get you store credit. I highly doubt this was a known customer of that store because seriously, who other than Chris would do this where he’s easily identified? These dudes will hop across town trying to find that one weaker employee that will break policy. Prime time to do it since this is the beginning of the holiday season, and all of the unskilled seasonal hires are coming on.

Edit: also, you’re unable to ‘trade-in’ unopened games to GameStop.
