Wow, these troons and their fake knowledge of female anatomy. Jake's "we have a hormone imbalance and we're just like cis women" schtick is conflicting here with his "transwoman boobies can totally produce milk just like yours, it's all the same tissue and totally homologous!"
When "cis" women have hormone imbalances causing them to overproduce testosterone, which is the exact condition Jake likes to pretend he has, they usually have a condition called IGT, or Insufficient Glandular Tissue, that impacts their breasts. These breasts are then made of just what Jake says: fat, and not much mammary tissue at all. Of course, these women still have uteruses, menstruate (even if irregularly, menstrual irregularity/absence is only a female symptom, it makes no sense as a health indicator in a male), and can get pregnant, so they're still women, not men.
In spite of the best efforts of scientists and doctors, who would dearly love a good enough treatment for IGT that it would allow women with PCOS and other similar conditions to consistently be able to exclusively breastfeed, IGT is not very treatable. No amount of galactogogues (stuff that helps women with normal breast tissue produce more milk) does anything much, and even powerful hormone therapies that are not advised because they will contaminate the milk only go so far. Most women who have it must settle for, at best, supplementing their breastmilk feedings with formula so that the baby doesn't starve to death. Which is the same thing men can do, really -- you don't have to be trans-anything to be able to produce milk as a man, you just need to inject some hormones and stimulate the nipples, and voila, milk. It's not magic, it's science.
But to make enough milk to feed a baby, you need mammary tissue that developed in the presence of sufficient estrogen and in the absence of excess testosterone, during puberty. The way Jake and Zinnia are openly mocking the actual female anatomical feature of breast milk sacs, which develop during pregnancy exclusively from mammary tissue and are responsible for changing women's breast shape even once breastfeeding is done (since they shrink but don't go away), is pretty funny. They're at the perfect point on the Dunning-Kruger curve to believe they're incredibly intelligent about women's anatomy, much moreso than stupid women who were born with it and have gone to La Leche League meetings and fed their babies for months or years.
