People did not give a shit about Venezuela until Trump began to care, Orange man did in 1 year what two democratic administrations did not dare to do in 8.

Colombia is just asking for a passport, it doesnt matter if it expired. Even if you don't have one (because Maduro is such a scumbag that pretty much forbid the issuing of new ones), the only thing you need is to register at a border checkpoint and in a couple of months you get your ID that pretty much makes you a citizen. Without it, you can only stay in 90 days. Lax countries like Argentina and Chile even accept university titles without the Hay rubber stamp because again Maduro tried to make the life to everyone who wanted to leave a living hell, so no, this is not Mexico.

What Chavez did was to create "mixed industries" aka he took the majority of the shares of all the Oil infrastructures in the country, mostly kicking out Chevron/Texaco, and they are now pretty much fucking us in court

He was so much of a coward that when the big shit happened he did the same thing he did when his coup against Carlos Andres Perez failed: he hid on a island and practically SURRENDERED, but the opposition party let him back without so much of a scratch "to maintain the government and regain control". This was the first crack in Venezuela democracy, the controlled opposition could not hide how much of a sellout they were and now they are facing the consequences. Their voter base is practically 0 and they are hated for being sellouts. The Democratic Union died and no one gave a shit, right now the PSUV reigns supreme and there is NO ONE who can oppose it
60/40 Yes, Chavez did that and put morons in key positions in key industries, the one that got the worst part was national oil company PDVSA, because almost everyone that had two brain cells in there left or was taken by foreign companies. What this guy omits is that Chavez did this to begin his plan of making the key industries part of his cult of personality, it was during this time that everyone working had to dress in red, Managers and high ranked officers needed to have a picture of Chavez in their offices. It was Maduro that begin the hard crack on the media by buying or destroying anyone that talked bad about him or his pals, and right now there is not a single public TV Station that is not a propaganda machine of Maduro, that is why people only receive true and honest news via Twitter or WhatsApp.

All of her poor girl routine is fake. She came from a family of professionals. She commonly presents herself as all those white men in comics told me I was too dumb and black to make it and constantly accuses them of copying her now that she’s successful. She doesn’t name names of course and it’s dubious as to what she says happened actually happened. But she’s hilariously bitter for someone supposedly happy with their success and still holds grudges against unnamed creators, DC and Marvel for not hiring her and I just find her funny to watch.

What is the deal with Leftist artists making themselves as butt-ugly as possible? I know they want to display their revolt against tradition and normalcy, but most of the early lefty artists did that by making work that challenged traditional notions of aestheticism. Modern lefty artists have transformed themselves into aesthetically challenged works of art, probably in an attempt to make themselves seem far more interesting than they really are. But surely, there have to be ways of challenging beauty norms that don't involve you shaving the sides of your head, making the rest of your hair look like a pile of turds, wearing Dame Edna glasses, and putting a Ferdinand the Bull ring in your nose.
Also, why does it seem that this low-effort form of ugliness goes hand in hand with perversion? Why can it always be counted on that the ChrisChans of the world (male, female and in-between) draw reams of porn that only arouses warped closet cases like themselves?

In art, there's the "gestalt" referring to the whole of something as opposed to individual parts of something.
Some things only work in art because there's a layer of unreality, a loss of detail. Super heroes look good in spandex in comics but in real life it looks silly. Look up any "realistic" picture of Super Mario for an example.
We know they have some kind of blind spot for seeing the whole of things around them. They aren't seeing the real world appearance, and they aren't seeing the gestalt.
They dye their hair blue or rainbow colours to be "unique" despite being exactly the same as the people around them. So you have the "tough gal" nose ring which classes with the "whimsical" coloured hair which clashes with the "geek cred" shirt and tattoos, etc. They see a photo full of diversity despite everyone in it being a middle class white woman with brightly coloured hair. Tattoos might be cool or impressive individually, as a whole they look like a mess.
Or they are just ugly and have no sense of style.
