That tweet displays an uncommon amount of restraint from Proto. My money's on that this is either a result of an NDA she signed in order to work for GDQ, or that she's smart enough to not piss in the pool with her employer by starting some drama over it.

If I had to guess, I think her departure from the interviews team may have had something to do with the crotch-cam displays we were given this past summer, since it was simply poor host protocol, regardless of the host's gender.

Either way, I count this as a win. As a personality doing donation commentary for games at GDQ, I think she's inoffensive. And she at least knows what she's talking about with the speedrun community enough to be able to hold her own in an on-camera group conversation. As long as we never have to be subjected to unprofessional crotch shots again, I'll be happy.

And who knows? Maybe we'll get some juicy drama from this down the road.

Man, fuck you. I had managed to forget that until now. Absolutely horrifying, like that scene from Basic Instinct acted out by a small, portly fellow in too-small shorts acting like everything's normal, nothing to see here.

Thank God that era is over at least and like you said this could be the start of something. I wonder if they want to slowly shuffle it out of there and this is the first step. I know, :optimistic:.

A little while ago, I part of a raid of PP's discord. I joined its server about an hour before the rest of the group did, and everyone besides me got banned from the server by an anti-raid bot. During the raid, people spammed a bunch of embarassing stuff about PP, including a link to the KF page. I just watched the chaos, and PP unbanned me naively assuming I was a fan that coincidentally involved in the crossfire. Of course, I used this trust to my advantage to try to get PP to admit to being a diaperfag. Screencap of DMs is attached

AGDQ 2019's schedule (Archive) is out, and I checked it a couple of weeks ago, and I believe I saw that Proto was nowhere except for one run, running a game that seemed really obscure (Sadly I didn't archive it at that time). I checked it tonight, and any traces of Proto are gone. Did GDQ get fully rid of him beyond dumping him from the interviews?

EDIT: Turns out the schedule I looked at was GDQx, where he did run a completely obscure game (Archive).

I think he was first scheduled for behind the scenes stuff and then quietly scheduled for not being part of the group anymore. I assume he opted not to show up with the writing being on the wall like that, but perhaps he was also put on a ban list too? After his utterly ridiculous behavior this past year, even GDQ rightthinkers must have wanted his bullshit gone.
 
I skimmed a bit through his twitter to see if I could find any new stuff about the GDQ drama, but he tweets too much. I made it through hundreds of tweets and only got back as far as Nov. 4th

This is a joke right? The right call for an organization is to literally believe everything they are provided and "believe the victim"? Victim of what even? Of the words of a sped on the internet? Someone call an ambulance.

RWhiteGoose is a complete spastic that doesn't think for a second before posting his "woke redpill" garbage, and GDQ has a weird fixation with investigating this kind of thing when it stays on the domain of pure belief and that "wrongthink" really has no impact on speedrunning itself, but at least the way it was handled was honest. Even if I don't agree that someone should get banned for this kind of stuff, things were investigated to try and see if messages were not doctored because it's entirely possible that some people with a bit of malice and resentment would go to such lengths to get someone banned from an event like this, for a myriad of reasons.

Only an entitled child like Jaret would STILL act like a little child and act like a persecuted victim even when things went his way. I am actually at a loss of words here, he actually blames an entity that granted his wish to the letter. Jesus. Grow up.

Also here's the drama he's referring to, from what I can see the guy in question is a massive anti-semetic MGTOW shit. On the other hand, PMG, "antifa andrea", and a few others (who almost all seem to be troons) clearly tried to use it to make a blanket statement about everyone that disagrees with troons and push GDQ to purge them and everyone that isn't a tankie. That's why it took so long for GDQ to act.

Proto worried about having less women at a GDQ is laughable. The little shit is catty enough to act all "Yay wimins!" on the surface, and then bitchy mean girl behind closed doors to the other awkward troons should said lady runners be actually good gamers and any kind of attractive.
