His patreon is seriously trash tier, even extra during these holiday months

“Pay me money to nominate a game you like that I’ll only play for 30 minutes to an hour, and won’t care enough to learn the game, respect the game, or enjoy it”
Wow man where can I sign up?‽
I think you're being too harsh. Who wouldn't want to pay $5 to get a special title on the tumbleweed forums or $50 for a custom video he puts zero effort or enthusiasm into?

His Patreon is trash for a few reasons.

First of all, to get to vote on games for an event that was made possible by his TWITCH SUBS, so those twitch subs are only responsible for the event itself and have no control over the games... UNLESS you also pledge $5 on Patreon. So, let’s say you do the Patreon thing and participate in the voting for games he should play for the holiday marathon... Uh oh! Phil makes an executive decision to play two random games that weren’t even included in the vote! So what happens if he does choose a game you voted for? Well, he either plays it for an hour and doesn’t bother to understand anything about the game and just tosses it aside for the next one, or he plays it for 30 minutes, says the game fucking sucks and blows it off.

His Patreon perks are worthless. $20 gets you a guaranteed priority to get your question asked on Ask The King... who (besides that cucked faggot infinite) would wanna pledge to that perk? That’s an absolute was. Throw him 2 quarters and get it answered on ANY OTHER STREAM HE DOES.

It's very clear he's just trying to double dip on it with twitch subs+patreon. He knows how scummy he is being and he treats his fanbase like children. Which is ironic because he thinks they are all mature adults.

Apparently the patrons will be THREATENED with Phil's handmade-created THREATS on Sunday

Way to recruit patrons phil, learn how to spell first you dumb fat fuck

Theory: Phil will only sell the Renton place if he can get 500k for it. He'll want to double his investment, in his head at least.

I think he's going to be on Twitch forever and he'll be in that Renton house forever. He's so lazy, no chance he'll sell the house just for $250k. He's not going to downsize his home, if he sells a $500k home he's going to buy another $500k home. He's not moving to Wyoming or whatever, that's not what Kat signed up for. The only thing he will do is refinance because to him that means free money when in actually it just means consolidating debt.

250k extra. thats demanding a lot considering he barely did anything to improve the home

Even if infinite gives $50 in bits every single stream, it’s still nowhere close to what he claims to need. $15,950 to go...

It's so damn unproductive for him. He's juggling almost 6 games. Why should a viewer get invested in his playthroughs if he puts them on hold every 1-2 days.

He likes to say he's a variety streamer now, but that's not really how you do it.
edit: Because if you are putting games on hold because another new release happens, it just snowballs into what he's got himself into now with his 6 game juggling scheme. By the time he has finished a new release, others have done it weeks before. Why should anyone subject themselves wanting to see a new release all the way through with his method of practically waiting around
On Dave you can actually see this really interesting scientific discovery (one of my favorites): We might think we argue first and then do the act based on that. But in fact we already decided subconsciously and then make up "excuses" why our action was a good idea, and normally you can come up with a good explanation/excuse. To be fair, let's say this goes for 99% of everything we do, as you can clearly plan ahead in time, but for the daily decisions this totally goes.

So why is he officially a "variety" streamer? Not because he decided this beforehand, not because it's a good idea, not because there is a niche and for sure not to have some - well - variety. It's because this is how LazyPuppetDave just plays, he has actually no plan. Look, a new game. I want to have that new game. Now we play that new game (fuck the other games, they are boring now).

Why is he a RAW videogame streamer? Not because it's "real", not because he can be like the common gamer, not because this makes him unique, not because people want him as a streamer, not because this is his style and not because it's the modern way. It's because he is fuckin lazy, don't want to edit anything and it's easy bucks.

Why does he attack literally everyone? He had this project, the "Hateful Truth" which says everything, right?
Because he is an honest guy? Because he stands strong for free speech? Because he knows the facts and wants to teach everyone a valuable lesson? Because he wants to protect f.e. gamers from injustice of the industry? NO! Because he's a complete ignorant asshole and his ego can't allow any reaction which even resembles an opposite opinion or reaction and he pussies out as soon as the situation "gets real", with the complete package of more excuses (The match was bad, that's why I left. Where is the mute button?). It's all about him and nobody else!

Why does he not want to do coops with other streamers? To protect them from the trolls? No, because he's afraid of a bigger audience he can't control and they might figure out his bullshit, and his money grabbing tactics might not work on them. Also he loves attention on him, not someone else, the ego won't allow this.

Dave is a really interesting case. Imagine you strip the scientific discovery naked, there you go, Dave is the most purest example. The "excuses" many people make up are quite sound, even some stupid ones. They make somehow sense if you look at it from a specific angle. But I can't figure out how his subconsciousness decided why it's a great idea what he's doing on a daily basis and where it pulls out these massively idiotic and illogical explanation/excuses, because a normal critical thinking human being would hear and see the shit he's doing just one time and immediately think: Woooow, and I thought I am garbage, but now I'm feeling really good in comparison, I've never seen something this twisted and illogical in my entire life. I can only explain this with complete isolation from the rest of the world and a lot of mistakes in parenting; or he's literally mentally ill since birth.

Cheers. I got my beer.
And some edits for better english I suppose, here you go.

His attempt at double dipping is killing his Patreon, but he doesn't give a shit which means he is fine. There will come a day he won't be fine, like say YouTube gets demonetized out of nowhere, and Patreon will suddenly become important again...until it isn't.

It could all be easily fixed by just having two goals, one for Twitch subs and one for Patreon which would give non Twitch viewers a place to donate. Obviously that is too much work one man could possibly do, even though he streams 6 days a week and could easily swap out a second stream for a second goal, better to just let Patreon slowly rot away.

Infinite_55 trying to keep Phil's streams above that minimum wage threshold.

What a true soldier he is. :semperfidelis:

A struggling student is financially taking care of a guy with a house, car, patreon, and a partner who brings in their own income.

Fucking hell. He should just drop out because college can't fix that level of stupid.

Good news folks, D$P may be playing more Smash than previously expected since he "can now make money off the YT videos".

I think he still does. He makes sure to point out he doesn't read guides a little to vehemently for my tastes. But in his MGS3 playthrough, when talking about suppressors (yes, that entire shit show) he says something like "I was reading online and SP is supposed to mean supressor, but how do I use it".

Strange thing to just randomly stumble on online. I've never seen people randomly talk about that and I was quite active in MGS forums during the peak of it's popularity. My money is on him either reading a FAQ or some other such bullshit.

His use or lack thereof was heavily dependent on which narrative he happened to be pushing at the moment. @ 5:25

D$P shows his collection of game guides. He showed them before in an earlier 'tour', but I found this one first. In recent times, D$P has completely thrown the 'I don't look at guides' completely out the window and will openly look information up on his phone on stream when the chat fails to hold his hand sufficiently. He has even read the FAQ aloud.

...why give him 5 bucks just to vote on games....that he will only play 1 hour each?

Twitch viewers have ultimate control according to D$P who stated that if the Twitch chat complained during a 'marathon' that a Patreon voted game 'was boring', he would switch to different game regardless of how little time he had been playing said game. He has stated repeatedly that fans should donate to his Pay-me-tons to support him not to receive something in return. He 'allows' them to vote on games out of his boundless generosity and he is not obligated to do so. His views on this is, of course subject to change based on which story he is currently espousing.

That's pretty interesting to me. I've seen him go through a few phases when it comes to being "accused" of using a guide. I've seen his MGS phase where he swore blind he didn't look anything up. Pointedly saying he was playing blind but then tripping himself up a few times, like the time I mentioned where he seemingly without thought admitted to looking stuff up before playing.

I've seen his DkS phase where he seemingly looked at chat so much it seemed like he was trying to antagonize viewers. DkS2 springs to mind, he seemed close to tears at some points and got very defensive about it. This is the most confusing to me, we could clearly see him on screen looking at chat every 5 seconds but then denying it. This is also where I saw him stop playing for a while and ask his chat whether to go left or right.

IDK why he's seemed so desperate to appear to not have used guides. I personally don't see a problem with it. If you get to a point in a game and you legitimately for whatever reason can't progress then fuck it, break that guide out. I used some in the DkS series, to finish side-quests after hours of fucking about with no luck.

It's just so weird to have seen him so clearly read chat or randomly figure things out or just know which way to go in a game and him pretend he figured it out solo. Just another example of him making himself look like a twat to me. Just own up to it and use them sparingly.
