Still watching D&C's long-ass video and being reminded of a theory I thought up a while ago.

Do "hidden" alt-righters or white nationalists really exist? I don't think they do, at least not nearly to the extent that the Right Side of History types think they do. It seems to me that almost all of the people that actually believe that crap are pretty out, proud, and vocal about it, and that even applies to comics a la Vox Day and Jon Del Arroz and Tim Lim to a lesser extent. These people wear their political proclivities on their sleeves.

When evaluating whether Zack is an alt-righter or white nationalist, we can evaluate his choice in friends and women and come to the conclusion that he probably is not, but for me the even greater evidence is that he simply says that he is not. Find me an actual alt-righter who denies or used to deny being an alt-righter. (This could apply to just about any of these extremist/clique-ish political positions, come to think of it.)

I don’t think JDA and Tim are alt-right, but they definitely are politispergs. One wore out their welcome and the other was exceptional enough to partner up with LNC. Shame, I liked Tim.

If they're true yeah, he ought to be prosecuted for a great number of crimes. The nice thing about the legal system is that, unlike twitter mobbing some asshole because of a blog post, there are things like evidence involved, so I'd have more faith in a verdict stemming from a real investigation instead of something some rando typed. From the things in this woman's account it doesn't seem like the crimes happened more than a few years ago, so should be well within any statute of limitations.

In other news, there's a new Nerkish Tonight. Won't be able to catch it until later, but definitely looking forward to it.

Honestly a few months ago I might've said Nerkish was one of my top 10 Youtubers. His reviews were enjoyable enough, but his livestreams were always insanely entertaining. But ever since his shitty Nerkish Tonight show started, I've basically lost all interest. He's like an anti-SJW version of the Nostalgia Critic now, where autistic skits take up 50% of the run time, and the other 50% is him commenting on stupid images/clips I already saw 3 weeks ago on Twitter. The humor is canned, and there's none of the shit I actually find funny. And he dicked over Cecil. I'm sorry he's dying of MS or whatever, but if being actually entertaining is too much, maybe he should just hang it up.

You'd think these male feminists are so wimpy, they wouldn't even try to get near a woman. Anyone know the status of the Hasbro licenses? I'm afraid beyond Transformers, MLP and GI Joe I don't really know what IPs they own, but all three still show up for sale on IDW's site. Hasbro bought Power Rangers in 2018 so them being published by Boom! is probably honoring previous deals.

Abuse and manipulation are really broad terms, and may not be sexual in nature. That is obviously un-excusable when it comes to a minor, but a 17 year old girl could describe me snapping at her to put her phone down and get back to work while as her manager I schedule her shifts at Burger King as manipulative abuse.

If this guy really sexually assaulted anyone or messed around with underage girls, then tell the police, not the rumor mill. What are these women afraid of? We're talking about a guy working in a comic shop who writes comics too, right? I can wrap my head around being afraid to bring an accusation against someone rich and powerful to an extent, but a fucking comic book nerd?
