A few people seem to be upset this email chain is gaining traction, and are pointing fingers at those who are interested on this forum and getting upset. They claim it's giving DSP more ammunition and that it's low effort. They seem to believe it's violated some taboo and thus should be shunned. To them I have this to say:
1. At no point did a member of this board come forward and claim to be the email writer. This was a lone troll acting on their own. Thus, pointing and laughing is allowed in this situation. If you were the idiot at the zoo taunting the gorilla, you're actively involved. However, if you just happen to be watching the gorilla enclosure and dumb taunting dude gets the gorilla riled up, you are allowed to watch and be entertained.
2. Dave is actively riled up by this, and his reactions have caused legit damage. Four different reactions were had, and each one had to clarify the ones before it. First there was the "Out of context" tweets, then the twitlonger claiming there were multiple attempts and that the guy wanted the whole thing private, then the prestream where Dave made repeated attempts to claim he was being accused of "theft." Finally, there was the board posting where he *finally* figured out why people were upset and claimed he would have revealed the donation... after his begging streams. It's an idiot snowball that became an idiot avalanche.
3. Some people have compared this to the escort saga, and claim we were all too eager to jump on this wagon. However, the first posts about this were skeptical and it was only AFTER Dave addressed this that the arc became cannon. Speculation didn't blow up til the blowhard had his say.
4. Everyone is here more or less for entertainment, but some of you are far too picky about how you want it. Demonetized only, happening organically, grass-fed or loaded with salt. A few people seem to want the world to abandon Dave so he can create some solo content a niche audience would enjoy. Some of you seem to think you can order it like you order a burger. But at the end of the day this content is exactly as it should be - a greasy, amalgamated mess, cooked and left lukewarm on an unwashed surface. Unfriendly, unhealthy, the mere knowledge of its existence adds to your personal toxicity. This frankenburger of a man is exactly what it needs to be to become such an infamous piece of the internet. So those who don't want to poke the retard, don't poke him. Those that want to, go ahead. Throw money at him, give him a diamond studded pig collar, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day DSP will never change. So just let it happen.
