Why does she always insist on calling Chris "they"? Chris is pretty adamant about being a woman, and most of us started following Chris's antics when she was a he, so Harriet's choice to go in the middle lane just seems rather extra.

Looking back, I still feel that this thread was wrong and that @hood LOLCOW should be encouraged to end this all. The hate campaign that he has waged against harriet cost friendships and ruined what was a healthy outlet for someone who has had to deal with abuse at the hands of a violent and vile man like Sophie LaBelle the past few years.
When you look at how this halal played out, sure there are some funny points, but there would be funny points for any of us who have been around here for years, me included. What I am trying to say here is that Harriet is a beautiful young woman who really doesn't deserve this in her life. She is coping with impairments that are not being accommodated, she was betrayed by a community she called home for several years and this will all have a negative impact on her capacity to trust going forward.
I like @LagoonaBlue. I think she is a sweet, kind and considerate person. What I would like to see happen is for all of this to be moved somewhere that it isn't public. She deserves her privacy and I am legitimately concerned about how her parents react to the existence of this thread.
At the same time, I reflect on the comments in this thread and it is like the drivel of thousand jackanapes who have nothing better to do than to make up lies and half-truths about a young woman because they didn't like her talking to certain people. This kinda stuff rubs me the wrong way and makes me disappointed in all of you.
I just hope you find some peace this Christmas, Harriet. You deserve it hon.

From what I saw there she was as autistic as ever.
How much of this was preventable, however? I agree Harriet isn't a bad person but using troll-shielding against chris chan & autphag as a way to take part of a community was always going to backfire. Null's explanations about OPSEC have been front and centre on kiwifarms. I'll admit the recent thirst-posting has been gross but my assumption is that halal threads are neutral with only cringe being a qualifying factor.
Not my place to backseat moderate but I don't have a problem making the thread private as long as she's made aware of why this happened and how to stop occurring in the future.

I think what pushed things over the edge in terms of deserving a thread is her repeatedly lying about her parents abusing her when the abuse not only never happened, but both her parents seem to be decent enough and very supportive of her. The fact she was doing it for so long and that it was a go to excuse makes it hard to feel much sympathy. It also makes it hard to believe she's just trying to do things out of the kindness of her heart. She seems pretty manipulative overall, and I don't think for a moment her suddenly being kind to Chris is genuine, I think it is more about using Chris to get her own attention. Going out of her way to get Chris a gift he didn't want really seems like she's pushing Chris to respond in typical Chris fashion so she can act like she's a victim and was just trying to do something good for someone who needs help.
I will at least agree that if it weren't for the fact that she posted here, she probably wouldn't warrant anything more than a mention in one of the Chris related threads. Or maybe a general tumblr-esque thread for the Jon stuff.

This is exactly what people highlight when they say she didn't understand a single thing about lolcows.
Cows can be very capable people. They can be the nicest people you've ever come across. It doesn't matter as long as they are extremely funny. Cows have very open lives in which they describe their most shameful and hilarious milestones for the world to see. They also never learn and continuously do so, so people can have fun at their expenses as long as they give content to laugh at. The rest (like not having a job, being a criminal for example) is absolutely optional. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.
I still don't understand why she thinks cows are those bad entities that have committed atrocious crimes. Again we're really not the sex offender registry or a repository of criminals. Then again the majority of the threads she posted in were in ones where she perceived the cow as an ultimate bad guy and proceeded to alog them like no tomorrow. Or have plans to fuck them with a strapon. Who knows what goes through her head at this point.
Also if you think writing Jontron fanfiction multiple times is not being dead serious about your activities/fetishes, we need to have a serious talk.
