I suspect, whether the money is coming from a legitimate source or not (stolen cc, etc), that Phil is in contact with E7. E7 started with Tier-1 subs but then moved to Tier-3. I’m guessing Phil informed him he only gets 50% for T-1 vs 70% for T-3. He probably also called him an idiot for it as well. Not to his face, but he definitely muttered it under his breath.

It also seemed like Phil was intentionally trying to say his name wrong. "Emerald.uhh...Green". Idk, just seemed like he was trying really hard to pretend like he had no clue who the guy was, and trying really hard to have no reaction to receiving a giant bounty of subs. This was quickly discovered, but it doesn't look like it is connected. The link on the page shows only two employees (a married couple) and the hiring link says they are not hiring. This makes it unlikely that Kat works there. It also doesn't seem likely that an internet marketing place, or whatever they actually do, would have people working the hours Kat allegedly works. Seems like a 9-5 M-F office and Kat works until after 10pm some days and worked on Thanksgiving.

Phil isn't likely to be going out and making friends with the sort of people that own this business. As an internet company they would surly be aware of his past. And from a business standpoint, bailing out a middle aged streamer doesn't make sense.

I think the names are the same and it ends there.

He's probably in the higher percentage of gifted subs, but even just looking at those, he's not quite the top. If you go to https://twitchstats.net/real-sub-count and check the breakdown, you'll see some of the top streamers have around 4-6k in gifted subs, while Phil is currently only around 1k. I think it just looks at numbers in the past 30 days, but still. Granted, it isn't quite as impressive when you consider those other streamers have significantly higher view counts.

DSP isn't the only one who gets whales and paypigs. It just seems weird when you look at Phil because, well, he's Phil for one, and he has such a comparatively small channel. This is actually one of the situations where his 10 year legacy kind of means something. Obviously he'd be better off if he spent those 10 years making good content, then he could be one of those streamers with actual thousands of subs and not just fake gift subs. But, it does mean the few dregs willing to stick around with him all this time are going to be stupidly loyal. The reason having the larger audience is better is it is ultimately more sustainable. Phil keeps burning through his paypigs and ultimately only gets enough support to keep limping ahead, while those other streamers are getting enough to live comfortably, and even if they lose some of their big spenders, they have enough fans to fallback on, plus they are constantly drawing in new viewers which increases the chances of landing another whale.

I think in a lot of cases, DSP doesn't actually get whales. It seems more like his paypigs build up their savings, then spend a month or two being top dog by raining cheers and subs in the chat, but then they need to spend months saving up again for anything particularly impressive. Because DSP really shows them no gratitude and loses any interest whatsoever once the money dries up, they are less motivated to actually do another money dump. I think that's one of the reasons why Swaggins has barely given anything since she initially bought her modship. She never really got the attention she wanted from Phil, so now she's happy just abusing her mod power and trying to get attention in chat. Tut was similar, once Phil stopped dancing he seemed to lose interest and become more of a scorned lover than anything. Even going back to BSV, it was really Phil not sticking up for him during the dox saga that caused him to finally join us. I'm actually surprised E7 has lasted this long given Phil's initial disinterest in him, even forgetting his name after he first appeared. I think that just made E7 a little more desperate, could even be why he upped it to tier 3 subs, but even then, I expect him to ultimately be disappointed with how little Phil actually cares. These people want to be the big heroes who swoop in and save Phil, but Phil can never admit to being saved because he only knows how to beg. Other streamers rely on talent/good personalities to keep the money coming in. They earn subs and cheers because they are good at what they do. Phil sucks at streaming, so he can only get money by begging and making himself look like a victim.

Yeah I dont believe piggy for a second when he keeps saying when asked that he has never talked to emerald green. if its not tut then its most likely one of the idiots who emailed him privately wanting to help.

keep in mind, this guy started around the time the 6k statue guy stuff went down, he told that guy basically i am not going to talk to you anymore because everyone is trolling me and probably gave him the exact same lines he gave the statue guy. show up on stream and do a big donation or fuck off. i suspect if it is a real fan it is in fact the emerald seven guy from youtube comments. either he lost access to his older twitch account or forgot he had it and changed his name to his current twitch account to the same name he was emailing the guy from (likely emeraldseven at gmail or something like that) so that phil would know who it was. again this explains why phil seemed happy but also annoyed when the sub bombs started coming through. he realized the guy was legit but was pissed he was giving him tier 1 subs where he only gets half. surely phil contacted the guy via email asap to tell him he only gets half and that is why the guy switched to tier 3. he also likely begged the guy to switch to tips and the guy refused for whatever reason (likely afraid of being doxxed, same reason he doesnt speak). that would explain why he was still annoyed that night when he switched to tier 3 subs.

again italso explains why piggy was such a bitch the first session 2 nights ago when emerald seven stopped gifting, he probably emaiuled him he was done or ran out of money or whatever.

I was thinking the same thing, especially if this turns out to be the emerald seven who replied to his YT videos like 7 years ago saying he helped me get through a tough day. Dave has put out videos for so long that a lot of various people enjoyed them for a time for some autistic reason. it increases the chances massively for one of them to feel bad and fall for his begging save the house shit and send him a bunch of cash. the good news for the detractors is, he is surely running low on them by now. he has burned through so many of them and they dont just blow their load and go re-load. the blow their load, get treated like crap or not properly thanked and then fuck off to never come back.

i wouldnt be surprised if some of these big donators try to become friends behind the scenes, sending him emails and shit, and as soon as they stop giving him lots of money he tells them to fuck off and he doesnt have time to talk to them and they get pissed and leave.

would posting that video link and just saying "this is what i found" be considered doxing and/or against the rules?
