I have a high school diploma and went to community college for a few semesters working on an Associate's in Social Sciences, with the intended goal of eventually becoming a college professor. I figured it'd be cheaper to get my Associates at a community college and then transfer to a four-year college or university.
But after seeing just how fucked up the universities are these days, I noped the fuck out.
Now I work seasonally as a self-employed gardener.
I mow lawns, pull weeds, trim hedges, rake leaves, and other types of yard work. Not a bad gig, but things are obviously lean in the winter months.
If I do go back to education, I will probably go to a vocational school rather than go to a university.
