Some RIP posts from FB, don't appear to be from anyone that actually knew her IRL. If it's true that friends/family want time to grieve before commenting on her death it might be a few days before there's any posts from them or an obituary.

I'm sure before then Phil and the other usual suspects from the rat king will be acting like they were best friends with her and laying the blame solely on us.

Based off of this post and the other posts I've seen from people who appear to have been close with Nia, yes, most of the evidence so far points towards a suicide.

This was only the second person to post about it on femme4memes, and they seem to strongly imply that Nia committed suicide. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the original post said before it was edited.
