The point is that Twitter and Medium and Wordpress etc would all benefit from allowing callouts of abusers, particularly Very Online abusers who will have lots of defenders writing angry counter-accusations, because that shit will generate lots of clicks and publicity. Could it be perhaps that he is attempting to rehabilitate his image? He changed his profile picture as well. It's not the one from the screenshots posted here, but a purposefully feminized image. I'm not sure smearing makeup on oneself and taking a photo is evidence of living as a woman but I suppose he must try everything at this point. It reminds me a bit of when I first borrowed my mother's lipstick for a try, but with less finesse.

The magnitude of his follower count also confuses me greatly. I see users with far fewer followers (think a few hundred) who interact with them much more often than do any of the 100+ thousand followers with Jonathan. Curious.
