I think it's more likely the dude's just a tool and doesnt care about "gamergate" or his group's values and never really did, they only have the one thing in common and it's his transness. He doesnt care about acceptance or any other of the things his allies and buddies care about (and I guess they didnt look into or care about that--or he never got involved enough outside of knowing a few people so it doesnt matter) unless they directly benefit or affect him. Remember he's unique in that he supports Trump and border walls and shit.
I think they probably keep him around because it's likely he is the guy who knows someone who knows someone responsible for the low level monitoring of twitter and shit--the hand that pulls the trigger, so to speak. He's the internet version of a Taiwanese prostitute, constantly asking to sell himself out for various favors and shit, he could have met some Reddit-mod type of person who works at Twitter.
I think, if that's the case, it's less likely that he has something on Oger and more likely that he uses that connection to monitor his own presence online during his various bullshit pursuits, under the presumption that Yaniv will also police his own presence so that they both look clean, since theyre both all in on it.
