I'm not sure if he's taking hints or he's just incredibly transparent and easy to read at this point.
All these days off I'm starting to think he isn't hurting for money as he claims anymore.

He misses gaming with everyone, but he never plays games with anyone. Reminds me of that kid in school who would say “dude, I got sega, come over and bring your Nintendo and we will play games” so you do but he only has one sega controller so he makes you watch him play Boogerman till your mom comes and get you.

Jokes on you, faggot, I got a genesis from my grandmother on Christmas and all my rowdy friends came over and we played General Chaos all night and you weren’t invited.

Christmas Eve Podcast/Stream that garnered thousands of dollars last year: not very time critical; flexible. If not feeling well, can be moved to the day after Christmas, two days after Christmas... If still not feeling up to the task, can even be delayed an entire week and rebranded a New Year's Eve Podcast.

Haircut appointment on Friday: Fucking blood oath. Set in stone. Would move heaven and earth to attend such a momentous event.

LOL so true its painful. Don't forget taking Sunday night off too. That seems to be quite the set in stone ritual as well. Starting to think Sunday night could be related to this secret hobby him and kat have. Its probably something super boomer too like going to bingo at the local church.

or maybe going to a local demon possession se'ance?

How in the hell does getting a haircut require him to take an entire day off....how does he not see the stupidity in that. Did he take days off of school for haircuts when he was baby dave?

Like for fucks sake man my co workers that have long hair and go into the saloon for dye jobs and sit there for hours still come into work that day, get a clue.

Yes, and this isn't a new thing. Phil can't work on haircut days. I assume because he schedules last minute and has some weird appointment time that falls in the middle of stream hours.

This prevents him from streaming because his autism demands he work a proper full big boy day. Since the hair cut interupts stream time at all, he can't stream because it triggers his sense of scheduling.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. But this is what DSP has devolved into. I thought he was going to make a breakthrough by challenging LTG and then maybe even having a DSP Paypigs vs Detractors streams. Maybe not Fred Fuchs levels of autism, but some of the SOK or KWO tards. Maybe even Rambo leading the detractors. But no. It's just been "it's that gaming season, save the house, pay the bills". Fresh new Kahntent.

Nobody. Because the alternative is that he is just too stupid to either:

- Go visit a doctor
- Use mints during streams to avoid catching a sore throat
- Buy normal throat medicine in any local pharmacy

My only guess is that he is acting sick so people will feel compelled to donate during New Year. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts the stream apologizing and throwing a pity party.

His viewers, in order to drum up sympathy (for future streams) and to excuse the last few days while he was doing fuck knows what.

What I don't understand is, why couldn't he just stream with no mic/facecam? People could still watch his gameplay, and it's not as though he's ever once added to the experience with good commentary. Fuck, if he was worried about periodic begging reminders aren't there automated ones that you can set to appear in chat? Phil could do what he does now without even so much as showing his face.

Also, I don’t see why everyone is speculating. Philbert feels comfortable atm. He has made $12k+ of his $16k goal in just under a month... So why not play hookie for a couple of days? He can come back full force the first of the year and beg even harder, he probably understands that he still has a few months to accrue the remaining finances necessary to pay his mystical bills.

He’s just an idiot.

Because he's not acting like he does when he's confident. He's never, ever, apologized for having bad content or for failing his fans like he did on the Christmas stream.

From what I recall, Phil has a "personal hair stylist" who lives in a different city. She is the only person he trusts to cut his hair. His hair is thick, full, and rich, and he is not going bald by the way.

This guy is too sick to stream and has no money to pay bills but can spend an entire day traveling across Washington to a personal stylist for the equivalent of an $8 haircut.

How does Phil get to this other city? He doesn't drive. Does Kat take him or does he pay for a taxi?

Because his gameplay is so shit that nobody would come for it? I mean, I guess he could do it and hope that people threw pity quarters and dollars at him (and some of his tardier tards would), and it would be better than nothing.
