i was thinking this over for a bit
and i realize kat is the most transparent example of phil and his NEED to embellish
his need to make himself more than just ordinary

the transition from panda to horse, phil could have just said
"yep, my relationship with panda didn't work out. so we split up, tried dating (or something i dunno) and met kat. we meet up a lot now, sometimes she's at my house and we do things. it's working out so far, maybe.. MAYBE she'll be on a stream or two. [sensible arfing]"

instead it's
"PANDA ISNT REAL WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SHE WAS A BITCH.. KAT IS MUH SOULMATE AND I HAD TO FLY HER OVER HERE OR ELSE...uh... ID DIE... or something...SOUND GOOD? AND SHE WILL BE ON STREAM ONCE A WE-ALL THE TI-NEVER!!! BUT WERE CONNECTED BY THE HIP AND WE JUST RANDOMLY MEET YOU KNOW? AND... NOW WE HAVE TO STAY TOGETHER BECAUSE WERE SOULMATES 5 EVR!! ARF ARF ARF ARF!!!"

the whole "soulmate" thing is just making it worse when she finally leaves

He does that with any new acquisition. And yes, I'm convinced that for him starting a relationship with someone is treated as acquiring them.

Buying the house in Seattle was going to solve all of his problems, up to and including a long-standing back injury. The PS4 Pro and 4K TV were going to improve the quality of his streams beyond all imagination. The $300 headphones were so amazing, it was like Aphrodite whispering in his ear and giving his brain a handjob you guys.

Every new thing he gets is the greatest, life-changing experience. That's why he can't stop getting more of them.

oh i'm sure when it was obvious the ring he got for panda wasn't going to fix the relationship phil was already out shopping for a new trophy

the idea of not having an S.O. puts a dent in his ego and his MATURE ADULT WHO TOTALLY ISNT A FAGGOT lifestyle

You've all been fooled all along, the snorting was his illness the entire time.

Get ready for the "had to visit a doctor and it costs HUNDREDS! DONT FORGET ABOUT THE TIME AWAY FROM STREAMING!" and the "I EVEN HAVE TO GO FOR A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT!"

Hopefully Kat tells the paramedics to just give him a pill instead of taking him to the hospital.

“These days”? His gameplay has always been awful, it’s just in the past he pretended like he gave a shit about the game and streaming in general.

Today, you can see during his streams that he would literally rather be anywhere else than in front of the camera, going through the motions for a few shekels.

Video gaming is something that he may have used to enjoy, and now it’s all but sucked his soul dry.

Seriously though, how the fuck does someone who doesn’t go outside get such a bad cold. I feel like if he got sick from Kat, he would have said so. He always blamed panda when she got sick right? Or if he actually went to the store or something and some douche was coughing into the air nonstop he would bitch about it. He hasn’t made any excuses at all for being spontaneously infected. Just “I’m sick, no can strem, *cough, cough*”. Weird.
