Or he's just hoping that he's "woe is me" 'd enough that people will show up and tip large amounts. This would satisfy his alleged need for money "TO MAKE ENDS MEET" (TM) and also have allowed him to basically take a week off and still make money for playing video games badly.

I still think he's going to do alright, but at the same time...his "story" this year is a lot less compelling than last year. Last year he could play up the whole back taxes "SAVE MUH HOUSE" nonsense. What big financial surprise did he have this year? He lost youtube money for like 3 weeks. Tut more than made up for that, and now E7 has one-upped Tut. That's in addition to have a person with a 2nd income living with him.
Man, fuck this guy. A well visit to a doctor costs less than $50. The medicine he might get would cost less than that. What a useless sack of shit.

This is such complete bullshit. Is he implying he does not pay for health insurance? If he goes to a clinic at most the co-pay is like $50 for decent healthcare plans. He is acting like he must go to an emergency room for a common cold.

I pay for some shit tier health insurance and my appointments at the most have cost me $150. So I don't think a doctor visit cost him $2k unless he strolled in there without any.

$2,000 for a doctor's visit to check up on a cold/nasal drip. Rrrrrrright. 
I can't wait for him to explain all of this bullshit at great length and fluff it up during his first pre-stream. That's going to be pure gold, I imagine. I wonder if he can keep his story straight.
And I really wonder what in fuck he was getting checked out when he paid two motherfucking thousand dollars for a doctor's visit. Was he vacuuming while being naked and did he slip and landed with his penis inside the hose by accident, or what?

So in that case, the only compelling story would be a health emergency. Maybe he’s just sowing the seeds right now for a big “scare” a little further down the road, if things start really swirling down the shitter. But that would take more planning than I’m willing to give him credit for at this point.
In the words of Bob Ross, if he parlays his “I’m sick” excuse for a mini-vacation now into a profitable #SaveThePig health scare later, it will be a happy little accident.

I once had a doctor visit cost me a few grand. Because they wouldn’t fucking let me go home and I was stuck there for a month. My out of pocket was nuts, but they charged my insurance extra just because I have a latex allergy and so every time the nurse came to see if I was still breathing they tacked on an extra charge for non-latex shit. I actually felt bad for my insurance provider and contested some of the charges.
DSP says he pays “out the ass” for insurance, but it can’t be any worse than mine since he lives in a liberal utopia. I’ll bet you one American dollar the dude doesn’t have insurance and just pays the Obamacare penalty. Which might be going away, but I believe the penalty is 2% of your gross income.

I feel like we should make a separate thread to remember "the sickening" and all of the tweets. I have a feeling there is something good will come at the season finale. There must be a reason for this. Sorry, I dont believe he is actually THAT sick.
