A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

Act like a roided up dude, look like a roided up dude, sound like a roided up dude, no wonder the Gamestop guy called it how it was. Gamestop guy was clearly in fear and didn't have time to process what he was saying when he called the roided up dude a dude the second time.

If the guy doesn't want to be "misgendered" in the first place he should at least try to look and act more womanly, wearing pink is not it, also sexist to act like dudes don't wear pink.

From what I read, the store clerk refuses to refund the transwoman after he used "Sir" the first time. Offering "store credit" instead. Which pretty much defeats the concept to taking your business elsewhere as a form of protest against insult. That's already a volatile situation that the clerk, (who is probably violating corporate policy by continually misgendering and likely already breaking the law by refusing a refund) should be diffusing. Bring in the manager. Instead the "sirs" keep coming, on somebody who's trying and badly failing at gender presentation. When a trans person passes or comes close enough that they get addressed with feminine pronouns, and then gets the occasional sir, there's no big reaction. When the trans person looks ugly and particularly masculine despite their efforts, they're going to get sir'ed alot more, and stared at, so will be far more sensitive to this sort of thing. However the extreme reaction is still not justified as cursing and kicking things down in a store with kids present is threatening behaviour that's justifies a police response.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion on this board, as the expected response here is "LULZ look at that troon ogre!" but I see this as an example of humans ignoring their higher reasoning and following their monkey brains and unnecessarily mutually escalating a situation that either party could have stopped. The store clerk was too ego- proud to realize you represent gamestop. You're not paid to have anti trans views. You're paid to follow the company line. The transwoman was obviously put into a primitive state of mind. From the media coverage, you'd think the trans went from 0 to 100 at being misgendered, when the truth is we're seeing the end result of something that built up.
tl;dr....I feel for the clerk and think he was just too flustered to pretend he was speaking to a "woman".

Us humans have evolved to be able with a quick glance, determine the sex of other humans. This has safety and mating implications.
This can be "tricked" with wearing the stereotypical clothes or other adornments of the opposite sex in a given culture, but usually not fully.
Now we have artificial hormones and surgery to affect a more complete appearance change.
Even so, male trans (transwomen) that have gone through puberty as male are rarely fully successful. Some definitely have genetics making it easier, but too many still look likes dudes in dresses.
The trans woman in the Gamestop looks, sounds and acts like a male. It is likely they have not been transitioning long.
I know if I were to do a quick glance or hear them speak, I would assume male from the get go. If I looked longer, I might be able to see they are trying to appear as a woman, but I could also see them as just a guy who is gender non-conforming.

If they appeared as say, Blaire White, this would not have happened. Blaire looks very much like a woman, and bypasses the automatic response to react to her like a guy.
The Gamestop trans still is very masculine.

What it looked like to me in the video is the clerk gave the initial reaction to an obvious male, and addressed them as such. As he was getting flustered and scared (I would be too, lol), it was harder for him to go against his natural reaction to see that person as a male.
It is automatic in a stressful situation.
The aggressive reaction by the transwoman reinforced that this was a male with an anger/rage issue.

The clerk is trained to call every male sir, I bet. Whether they are in a suit, or wearing shorts and wife-beater. It is ingrained, and not easily scuttled because a male wears pink shoes, unconvincing make-up and has something other than a buzzcut for a hairstyle.

The transwoman said that they were quite clearly not a man.
If they really believe that, they are delusional.
I can feel for a person that wants to be seen as a woman by others, but they also have to realize when they do not, and not go bat shit because people use their eyes and ears and KNOW what biological sex they are.

The media only enables people like this because they can't do the same for gay people anymore. Gay people are now boring and unsympathetic, so all of the pity and rally cries go to trans people regardless of how much they brought their misery upon themselves.

The main issue is that learning someone is gay doesn't really change how you deal with them. The average alleged trans person who does not pass has to be treated carefully or else they will go off on you.

I don't blame regular people for bristling at the idea of having to suspend their natural sense that something is off about this person just because the media says they unilaterally deserve to be put on a pedestal. This is tiring for most people and why trans rights are in a standstill.

Not freaking out in public is being "held to a ridicously high standard"!

Held To A Higher Standard

Clickbait.

Lol no the people being held to a higher standard are those that see through this bullshit and are forced to play along. And most of us do, inspite of every evolutionary *and* cultural red flag being waved by our brains saying “DANGER. DANGER. BIG NOPE.”

Conservatives viciously mock a trans woman who was misgendered on video

Conservatives are laughing at a transgender woman who was repeatedly misgendered in a video.

Ryan Fournier, the chair of the college Republican organization “Students for Trump,” tweeted a video of a transgender woman getting visibly upset as she is repeatedly misgendered by an employee at a Game Stop in Alburquerque.

At the beginning of the video, the woman was already upset, apparently because she had been misgendered by the employee. He called her a “man” and “sir,” even after she told him she is “ma’am,” and she got angry

“Take it outside – you wanna call me sir again, I will show you a fucking sir!” she shouted.

She knocked over a bunch of white boxes and threatened to call the store’s corporate management.

The video also appeared on the conservative site Town Hall with the title: “TRIGGERED: Transgender Woman is ‘Misgendered’ in GameStop, She LOSES IT.”

One of the top comments is: “That was quite a testosterone fueled rage!”

Several British tabloids also wrote about the video. Even though the Daily Maildidn’t misgender her, readers got the message. Someone in the comments wrote “Didn’t act like a lady,” and quite a few others drew a connection between her anger and her transgender status, implying that real women don’t get angry when harassed.

Besides the commenters who agreed that she should be misgendered, others insinuated that she overreacted. “No excuse for this maniacal overreaction,” said one person on a tabloid’s website.

She not only faces the same pressure other minorities do to accept harassment and discrimination with a smile, but she also gets misgendered more if she speaks out because of misogyny.

i resent this article & title since i'm no conservative and i was mocking as much as anybody.

What the fuck video did these lunatics watch? I saw a man in a GameStop trying to con the place by "returning" something he probably stole in the first place, and because they only offered store credit, he flipped the fuck out and got violent to try to rob the place by terrorizing the employee into doing something against the rules and giving him money for his stolen shit.

"Cissies are faking the video!!!"

But this is totally wrong. The troon friendly media has said this is clearly a video of a poor innocent pretty princess being harassed by some guy who viciously stalked her by standing behind a counter while she cowered helplessly in front of it just innocently demanding cash money, and being denied solely because of a transphobic store policy.
