So it's been a week or so since Phil took his full week off of stream. I don't see how he has made up that money and it even seems like yesterday was particularly slow with the first stream being top cheer at 1000 bits and $7 top tip and the second stream at 500 and $15.

I am generally curious how much he has made in this last week. I know he got a couple $100 donations and a scatter of $50 donations, but it still seems slow overall. Wouldn't surprise me if he starts skimming the $12k in gifted subs for his "bills" and now he needs another $10k by April.

As long as Mary Jane is illegal in his region, he would never try it even if he wanted to. Or can you imagine this coward prowling the low tier segments of his town in search for a dealer without any clue where to look and who to ask? And since he has no friends, who would point him in the right direction?

He'd probably make up some bullshit story about knowing some people from the mean streets of Connecticut who have "connections" and were able to "hook him up with some good shit". Then he'd tell a story of getting a phone call from some d00d named Badger to meet some shady dude named Skinny Pete on a street corner who leads him down a back alley into some seedy underground building. Was he a little nervous? Sure but you gotta put up a front, ya know what I mean. You can't fuck around when you're getting into this kind of stuff. Bunch of thug looking dudes and a couple guys wearing suits. Tables covered in money and all sorts of various drugs.

They ask what he wants and he tells them to give him that "good shit". They pause, almost like they're taken aback for a second. One of the dude's has a menacing scowl on his face and starts to reach for his pocket. Not sure if he's packing heat or not but Phil's in deep so he doubles down. You can't let them see you look like a pussy, ya know. "Come on man! I want that good shit. Quit playin. You either got it or you don't? If not I'll just bounce." Then they all laugh and the tension dissipates. They were just messing around ack ack ack! They say they've heard good things about Phil and even watched and enjoyed some of his playthroughs on youtube when they aren't selling drugs and committing crimes. Can you believe it d00d?! Ack ack ack crazy man. They gave him his stuff and told him if he ever needs anything don't hesitate to call. Might even come by to a co-op playthrough sometime if they have time.

But of course people in stream chat will call bullshit on the story. *flails arms* "Phil's a liar! That sounds like a movie! Why wouldn't you just go to a club or order off weedmaps? First off, shut the fuck up. Okay? You don't even know what you're talking about. Everyone knows the real good shit, that OG goooood shit y know wut I mean, you can't get at club. Everything's over priced and garbage. All right, I know this okay? I used to party in college. I GET the drug scene. I grew up in a rough part of Conn. You can't get the Snoop Doggy Dizzle at any of those clubs. It doesn't work like that."

Then he'd end up taking 2 hits off his "weed" which is probably some crushed up leaves he found in his backyard and act like a clown for 2 hours.

IF D$P's 1st stream vids were uploaded 7-8 hrs after I went to his channel page then....(dons tinfoil hat ) his "lag" issues could be his posting vids to YouTube during his 2nd stream...not during his break We all know how D$P covets his lay-a-bout time. Mayhaps all that phone checking is YT upload notifications. He wasn't getting any tips to check on PayPal.

This is an interesting point. He does check his phone an awful lot on 2nd stream.

EDIT: @actually may have the ability to provide a decent idea of what mods were in the chat at the time of the ban based on the join/part IRC data Twitch sends out.

Unfortunately, the logs aren't super helpful for this because kekon, for instance, tends to stay in the chat even when he's not actually there. I'd put money on it being Phil however. He's enough of a pussy to do it when he thinks no one is around and watching.

So it's been a week or so since Phil took his full week off of stream. I don't see how he has made up that money and it even seems like yesterday was particularly slow with the first stream being top cheer at 1000 bits and $7 top tip and the second stream at 500 and $15.

For the month of January (not including 1/5), he has just over $800 in cheers, subs, and tips (tips include an estimation of 1/4's streams since I haven't counted them yet). Pretty much right on pace with a normal month, tbh.

Ignore the green line. Orange is Oct 2018, Blue is Nov 2018, and Red is the current month.

This was the video I was referring to, I don’t know if it’s gonna be timestamped but if not, it’s around 3:48. He says, and I quote, “not only do I have back payments for the government, but I won’t be able to pay my taxes AGAIN, it’s just going to keep doing the same thing. Like I told you guys, my goal is in 2-3 years, refinance the house. If I can’t do it this year, then next year. If not next year, the year after that. It’s gonna work eventually!”

I thought that’s why he so desperately needed $16k? I thought he needed this money to pay his federal taxes and show proof that he has been showing consistent income for 2 years? Now all of a sudden he’s gonna need to be carried for ANOTHER 2-3 years?

This whole thing is such a fucking shitshow. I don’t understand how his fans aren’t scratching their heads and questioning all this nonsense...

He is just re-writing history. Be careful, the Snort Police will take you away for WrongCheer & DetractThink.

Phil never outright said he needed the money to refinance the house, at least to my knowledge. It was just a theory being bounced around since he mentioned his problems with refinancing right before taxes became an issue again. Since last years taxes were really about moving Kat in people guessed what this years goal really is. And Phil will always need carried as long as he is a streamer, and he has gone on record saying he expects to be begging forever.

Be prepared: in 2-3 years he'll sing another tune. Then, due to the shitty economy, the plummeting real estate market, the 250% tax raises under Trump/Democrats, (enter your prefered scenario here), it'll take another 2-3 years.

At this point, I believe many of the regulars just really like thim (wierd as that seems) and the whales just don't care, they just want to feel like omnipotent mega-alphas. And the few ones who are really pissed off by his lies get exchanged by new recruits constantly (as do his whales), so... he actually may be able to keep his up until his 50s. Especially if he can exploit his parents' death during that timegap.

“Please give me five minutes to use the bathroom. I won’t play ads or anything, would be pretty fucked up ya know?”

Proceed with 20 minutes of literal silence.

By the by, yes, Phil actually DID say that he needs the tax money ($16k) so that he can show the bank he has consistent income and can refinance the house this year. I specifically remember that, in fact, I’m gonna go back and watch the Thanksgiving stream.

It happened. Either drunksydephil sobered up and realized how much of a bitch he looked like or another mod fixed it for him.

Edit: I really wish these ban notifications were accompanied by who did it. And/or that unbans were also included in notifications.

@actually Could you give me a refresher on the estimate of Phil's take for December? Was it as high as 20k?

I'm just wondering here really because skimming any recent activity he doesn't appear to be particularly on edge considering we're now less than 4 months away from needing the additional $16,000. How much do we think he has left to make up on that? Despite the total the begathons all seemed like a a washout right?

While not terribly successful it doesn't seem like it'll matter much either. Nothing about him seems to give off the air of a guy who's about #losethahause. I'm speculating he's probably already had some form of adequate behind the scenes donations. We already know from his leaked email if this were to actually happen he wouldn't reveal it afterall. Well heh we didn't even need that to know he'll never call time on begging folks to save the wounded wallet.

He may not have the full amount but he's definitely not sweating enough (anymore than he normally does anyways) for my liking. I wish we could skip ahead to mid-April already to shock some life into this boring bastard and see him gyrate and try to force feed the chat more of those crocodile tears.

From https://kiwifarms.net/threads/darksydephil-theycallmedsp-phil-burnell.975/page-3985#post-4147351 :

Total December donations for YT, Twitch, and Patreon (NOTE: NOT IN POCKET YET): $19,955.16 - $21,775.16

As for the $16k, you can take basically all of emerald_seven's gifted subs and put that money towards it. So he has about $4k to go on that front. The begathons were effectively normal streams, but he should be able to easily hit his goal regardless. I think the theories about him wanting the extra money to push for the refi make a lot of sense, but it's hard to say for sure. In the meantime, he's just going to push MUH BILLS, and if he doesn't generate a lot of extra pitybux, he'll do something in late March or early April for MUH TAXES instead to try and make up the difference. Of course, the fact that he says he won't have the actual tax numbers until April (b/c obviously one should wait that long...) will make it hard to have a concrete goal for the paypigs to shoot for.

Phil seems desperate for people to tell him where these cultists are so he can finish as soon as possible. Yet he felt he had to 100% this game for some reason.

Phil's eternal paradox.

DSP just mentioned on stream that Steve Jones is his first detractor and he later on became Fred Fuchs. He is hunting the cultist and talking about detractors thinking he is creating a DSP cult is stoooopid shit, when they called him a cultist he wasnt even making money and wasnt even accepting donation for his videos

Also his horse died, hint hint

Lol, Bethe just got blown the fuck out by DSP for trying to stop someone in chat holding his hand.

Bethe gets BTFO.PNG

Next to him thinking "interactivity = money", obviously, it perfectly shows how amazingly out of touch DSP's views of interactivity are:
He says chat is being interactive by literally telling him how to complete a quest, doing the work for him. What he doesn't realize, is that he's completely disregarding the 99% of his audience that just want to see him play the game on his own merits. I mean, that's why people show up to watch a streamer, right? Not to watch chat play the damn game.

It's like a comedian telling an audience of 350 people a joke, one person giving away the punchline way ahead of time, people in the audience complaining about that because they'd rather hear the joke from the comedian himself, and then the comedian berating those people because at least that one person is being "interactive".

His fixation with achievements and trophies has always amused me because if you track how it began last console generation on Xbox 360 you'll note that he never really cared much about trophies on PS3 when they were introduced. He's always been dedicated to it only on the primary platform he gets the most use out of. This gen of course that happens to be PS4. It also doesn't reflect any actual desire to squeeze a deeper/longer experience out of any of the games he plays - he just equates pop-ups telling him he did something good to real world credentials.. it's just another weird sporadic compulsion he doesn't seem able to control

lol Steve Jones talk about blast from the fucking past and proof he can't let anything go. The guy who filed a copyright strike against him on Splinter Cell Conviction claiming to be an Ubisoft employee and it upset him so much he suddenly took ill and halted the playthrough.. citing time off needed to recover with a sleepy Mario jpeg PSA. People didn't like you even before then Phil get serious now.
