There is no way he didn't get the sponsor and shilled out $250 for some meme chair to try and convince his "fans" that he really got sponsored, would he actually do that?

God I could see it now with him ack-acking at the deaths of Leo (nothing I could do dood) and Cid (dood how was I supposed to know to not give him the slow moving fish? *snort*).He'd just better keep his greasy hands off Final Fantasy VI. I'm fairly sure he will just because to my knowledge there's no version out there with cheevos/trophies, but...even so.

Those are just two examples there's still plenty of feels/deaths in that game fatfuck failure Phil would just shit on:Phil would absolutely kill Cid, the monster. Fuck, he'd skip all the optional re-recruitment, try to do CESS and fuck himself at the end of the game like with the SoM remake.
Phil's idea of role-playing is making a character that looks (vaguely) like himself and then not doing anything character related for the rest of the game (unless you count being a dick, funny he role-plays himself and acts like a dick yet this doesn't give him pause for thought). Now that I think about it; would probably be pretty funny to observe Phil in a tabletop setting, I'm sure he'd never get a group to play with, but if he were playing a game with actual puzzle solving like Call of Cthulhu or a deeply political game I'm sure his frustration as he constantly fucks up and is unable to undo his mistakes would be amusing. In other news, during last night's 2nd stream D$P gave his audience some absolutely brilliant insight as to how his upcoming KH3 run is going to go. He commented on reviewers having mentioned problems with the story. D$P tells us he doesn't care about the story. All he cares about is if the gameplay is good and for KH3 that it has cutscenes with Disney characters. This goes a long way toward explaining his lack of immersion in the games he plays. It does not, however explain why he claims to really, really like jrpgs. The rp stands for Role Playing after all.
I remember way back when he did an apology on facecam about something, I don't remember what, it looked like he was reading from something on his desk. I speculated at the time that Kat had written an apology for him to read.Maybe she types them up ahead of time, doesn't he usually tweet that stuff out in the middle of the night when she should be sleeping to go to her 9-5?

Just checked Phil's stream. He's doing the taxi fare stuff in GTA3 now. Literally the most boring thing he could be doing. No radio music. Still on the first island. Why does he do this? I noticed the same thing when he played VC and San Andreas -- he does all the ambulance, fire and taxi missions and they are not good for streaming, they are totally boring. But Phil seems happiest when he's doing them.
It's such a mindless activity that the player could literally give 90% of their attention to something else - such as a full complicated conversation - and yet Phil has nothing to say to his audience. He's cruising on "saying-what's-on-the-screen" autopilot.

Tevin's unlisted stream of yesterday's gameplay has 11K+ views.
DSP's last videos of 10K+ views are the very first two RDR2 videos. He usually seems to top out at just under 7K views. Although I just did a quick "K views" search on Chrome.

This is the views from DSP's last 300 videos. He's hitting a ceiling of about 2K views.
