I know a pretty dark Italian kid; he looks just like his brother, but darker. America was willing to believe an Italian was a Native American for decades (Iron Eyes Cody). Some of them just look like that.

Those morons have always been around but there was always a massive backlash to it. Now there's more people saying "capitalism is evil so shoplifting is good" with communists jumping on board. LOL, come on, that's what I'm talking about. I'm seeing more of it now.

Ah, I see. I haven't seen that at all. Probably due to chance more than anything. "Sticking it to capitalism" was always the shoplifting fandom's surface M.O., and hell they may even drop that if people are doing the virtue signaling for them.

I've noticed a slight change over the year where it's gone from the shoplifting community making posts to communists saying why it's okay to steal.

The ugly new Squirrel Girl comic had a thing in it where she was talking to Doctor Doom on the street, and the Punisher rocks up to fight him. She yells out that it's just cosplay, and the Punisher apologises and drives off.

Which is the best you're likely to get with that concept at Marvel currently. Surprisingly, they didn't add the political slant to it.

Ugly Squirrel Girl is at least written pretty well. I will continue to defend it.
