Rereading Mariah's first thread on lolcow is just.. WOW. I remember she appeared in her own thread to add in her two cents and respond to anons. Some were defending her while half were calling her fat and infighting at the time. There's so much irony when she first started out cosplaying compared to now. She was full of herself at the time flexing her sponsorships and everything.

Funny how she lost that connection with Funimation 2 years later.
Back then, she USED to make her own cosplay props and even attempted to sew her own cosplays using a sewing machine before she got her friend
antares to make her cosplays and bought most of her props on Etsy. Her prop-making skills are well... not that good. Just look at this gun she made for her Zero Suit Samus. She also made the gun for her Mei cosplay and the backpack and it's about the same quality like this.
She also seemed to take her Patreon a tiny bit more seriously 2 years ago compared to now. There is a $100 tier where her patrons can suggest what cosplay she would do for them, not sure if she still has this tier today. She did a bad Misato from Evangelion and a few others like
this one. She more then likely bought this because it was probably difficult to sew. She used to also ship out prints as she promised to her patrons but you rarely hear anything about that now. It really makes you realize how she went from being somewhat serious with her Patreon to being a scamming lazy sack of shit not sending out rewards.
It's amazing how she used to look before packin' on the pounds. She's on the right.
