the thing with Phil is that majority of fan base mumkey built up probably does not give a shit about him. the better help shit really burnt the bridge for those who knew about it and was widespread among a lot of those "in the know" if you will, hell mumkey made a video about it with the Elliot Roger thing. If he can survive that with PR maneuvering, him not covering a story like this is pretty easy to PR spin even if he was to address it.
