The Official Simpsons Griefing Thread

I have FXX Now free for a week and I'm catching up on the newer episodes I haven't seen as a background noise. I'm sure glad I'm not paying for watching The Simpsons being beaten to death like a dead horse. I think I only laughed once or twice watching season 21 and 22.

It's an episode of the Simpsons where Lisa gets a new best friend!

I wonder whether Lisa's new best friend will ever be seen again after this episode or whether she'll never be spoken of again like every other one of Lisa's new best friends?

The latter most likely.

After all, if they don't want to age up the Simpsons, then they won't give Lisa an actual friend.

The weird thing about the Simpsons children is while don't grow up, the writers have lost the ability to write good stories for children, so often they get stories that feel like they would fit teenagers instead.

Hard to see how they can keep this up much longer. Aren't most of the voice actors in their 60's by this point?

God Lisa episodes are the worst, how could anything beat that in magnitude of suckage and unfunniness?

*watches new Family Guy episode*

Oh. Oh dear...

At least it wasn't a Marge AND Lisa episode, those make me want to have burning rusty nails inserted under my fingernails
