The only "improvement" is that the characters look only slightly less wonky.

Oh dang, I didn't know anyone was actually looking forward to those. I'm kinda drunk tonight but I'll start another one after work tomorrow.
I legit missed the dates at first and couldn't tell which was new and which was old. Also I don't know why it "had" to be de-saturated (Labelle just says "I made a mistake"?) the softer colours do this style of comic NO favours

I'd maintained for a while that what Bully's got going on in this comic could have been interesting if he would bother to explore any emotional aspects of the scenario, exploring this kind of family dynamic and the impact it has on everyone involved. I especially liked the first pages you did turning Martin and Alice's bland, snarky dialogue into something that felt real like Stephie's situation would have an impact on her. The most recent pages I'd seen was Martin's new girlfriend and it really made me happy to watch him become a character with his own arc trying to live his own life.
If there's been any since then I missed them but they're golden and pull something of substance out of Bully propping up child mouthpieces for the church of girldick.

I won't clog up this thread by talking too much about my own stuff, but in light of this I've put the pages together on a tumbr and will try to have the next page done up by this weekend. Since Labelle is taking to "updating" some of the old comic's dialouge, I figure I should probably pick my faves from the originals before things get changed up too much.
That audience of millions sure are getting the most out of that tablet, like you said.
No way with a 100 dollar wacom bamboo could Labelle have pushed ctrl + u and turned down the saturation like that. Four years of drawing every day as a professional and I still can't tell what gram is supposed to be holding in the first panel without the dialogue telling me. In my mind this is one of the worst assigned male comics. It features no canon characters, the dialogue is unnatural even by Labelle's standards, and the message is incredibly cringe inducing.
So of course I had to find a way to work it all in.
And it took WAAAAY longer than I hoped.

So is Labelle just going to draw every single comic that they made in the past for Webtoons to gain more attention and money? What's the point? Really, the original comic for how awful it is, is pretty iconic. Redrawing them doesn't make sense because they don't change anything big.
I can get if their art improved overtime but like others I couldn't even tell the difference. They barely change in tone! Shows to me that Labelle doesn't really give a damn anyway and wants to beg more for another $3000 tablet.

Honestly it looks like Billy's gotten worse/lazier given how much white space he has in these shitty webtoon things to me. Probably because he can't be bothered to draw anymore and just wants the troons to throw money at him for vacations around the world.

Totally understandable! I think I tried to fit too much in around sine truly insufferable dialouge.
The idea I had is that Stephie's mom is at a bar on a weekend when Martin has Stephie, and in a drunken stupor attempts to steal the attention of a young man away from his partner after recognizing his partner as trans. The drunken partner, not paying attention to any of this, spills a drink on the mom and another young woman, leading to the meeting between the mom and her weird muslim lesbian gf.
I shot for the stars on this one, and I may have failed, haha!
