well the reason I say it seems stupid is that at least for me it was a application you needed granted. I can't just say to the government. My name is hence forth Adolf Hitler. The process could take up to half a year. And the name have to be approved (adolf hitler would have been rejected) And there are lots of family names that are protected as well. So you may not even get something you thought where reasonable granted. You can't make a contract in a name you don't even know you will have. But I suppose in america it's an instant process, and you can call yourself whatever you want, and can start using whatever name you choose on a contract before you even have that name? To me that doesn't sound rightIf the contract stipulates that up-to-date bloodwork "in the name of the above" is provided then he's in breach of contract but yes, contract laws aren't uniform across the world.
