I watched his AL video and Onision video and he takes a lot of informational opinions from the kiwi farms. No one would notice unless they were an active user here.
After the 1st wave of reaction channels (ZM, Michaelbepetty, sarcastic, lfyeofafree, etc.) it’s just redundant, and I’ve heard it all.

I'd watch an Eat Like Amberlynn video, provided it was based on her actual video content rather than her estimated caloric intake.
That is to say, I'd watch someone ostentatiously film their tiny breakfast and say they hate bacon and are allergic to "/æïggz/" before ravenously devouring them. I'd watch them shop at Wommart for a 2am "lunch" and fail to keep colossal bags of potato chips out of frame. I'd watch them eat 5kg of meat for dinner while talking about how people who look like Becky are fat and disgusting, then add "not you, beeeeeeb!".
THAT is eating like Amberlynn.

Honestly I didn't think this one was too great. Some recycled material and just not as sharp as some of the others. Her videos are so good though, I have faith she'll churn out some more masterpieces.

Glad to see her back, but yeah, not her best. The Mulan and Titanic segments went on for too long, and I find her "reaction" cutaways from memes/other media to detract from momentum and be less funny than her edit of the source material. I think Katie's at her best and most original when she's just sentence mixing, like in GET TO KNOW CHANTAL when she made Chantal say she was in a relationship with her father but "things didn't work out" with a sad music soundbyte (gorl I was howling) or making her say "I'm fluently bilingual in binge eating and overeating". Katie, you don't need third-party media to make your vids funny gorl - you're talented enough that they're funniest when it's just you and the cow.

Well the thing is even those who made the reaction videos first like Michael Lawrence and Zachary Michael are eventually lose the audiences interest because unless Ambur does something outrageous or worth talking about it’s just going to be them repeatedly reacting to mukbangs, torrid try ons and insragtam q and a’s. That’s why Michael has gone quiet I think, he knows there isn’t any decent material to react to.

I love the referential "meme" stuff, personally. Her music choices are great too. In the right spots, it works. But I agree. Sometimes, the jokes drag on wayyyy toooo long. I howled at the Mulan song when Eric started jumping rope, but after a couple minutes, it lost its punch. I give her credit, though. She's talented and puts in effort. It's a shame someone like ALR has 100k+ subscribers and continues to grow. Her super super super morbid obesity is the only reason anyone gives a shit about her trainwreck of a life. If she was thin, she'd have to actually try.

I feel like Katie W. has to hit this exact point of viewer satisfaction that's somewhere between just smashing together clips of big AL's content and adding memes/jokes. I'd say she definitely does a great job but the amount of joke content versus the amount of stuff that comes verbatim from AL is definitely varied per video. I don't think that's unusual for that medium on YouTube though.

Rule of thumb (ho ho ho, it's Becky's nickname, get it?) for these is if Amber can't make herself entertaining for more than just over 10 minutes reliably, how is it supposed to be that little old you can successfully extended edit it into being amusing at an even longer run time by combining one boring Amber video with another just as boring one? Not saying it's impossible, just that it's difficult and most can't accomplish it unless they can find a way to bring something novel or compelling to the proceedings. Now, cutting it down to the bare boned funny or illuminating parts, that's a way to win with these consistently.
Chantal is a much more engaging talking head interview than big AL usually is, Katie can only sizzle up what she has in ingredients with each lolcow and Chantal makes for easier pickings for this type of parody due to her slightly more cunning mind providing greater range of ripe selections.
She does a fantastically thorough job, in this one especially, with her sound editing which is really what separates her from the alternatives in the genre to me, the attention to little details that exhibit true mastery of the form on display.

That is definitely edited in. If you listen you can hear the audio quality between the clips is pretty different. And he also played the same clip for donations on his streams.
