Correct me if I'm wrong because I've been watching football and working on my website, but DSP has 34 deaths so far despite not a single boss fight. I think he accidentally stumbled on a boss fight once and never went back.

DSP could legit go this entire stream without defeating a boss.

Can't get bodied by Ludwig and Gundyr 60 times each if you never play them I guess.

He started quite... well, energetic is never a good word to describe any of DSP's behavior, but you know what I mean. As this trainwreck-in-slowmotion of a stream went on, he turned more into a couch blobfish with every passing minute.

This run should be pretty glorious really, his whole strategy for Souls is get overpowering weapon and tank shit badly, this build is going to make that a bit more of a challenge, and well for a normal person the magic would you know make up for the lack of physical strength Dave's complete and utter hatred of leaving his comfort zone (aka to lazy to try/learn anything new for examples see Furi) will bite him hard till he gets something he can cheese at least.

I'm going to reiterate this fact once again:

Speaking as someone who's played through each game in the DS trilogy twice, I can tell all of you, using magic is essentially the hidden easy button of these games.

PS: The chat told Phil's dumbass to start as the pyromancy class, which has more dexterity than intelligence (the stat you need to power up your magic). Why Phil is doing a MAGIC run of the game and not starting as a fucking SORCERER is beyond anyone's comprehension.

This is literally the stream chat's run of Dark Souls.

I'll say this to his credit--he didn't do any kind of prestream and actually jumped straight into the game. He's a dipshit for not uploading his YT vids on the 2nd internet line, which does not disrupt the vast majority of internet activity, but at least he didn't fuck around at the start.

In the case of DS1, it was actually no investment/high-yield. Pyromancy requires no stat investment of any kind besides attunement slots - all you need is enough souls to power up the Pyromancy flame weapon and you could obliterate any boss that literally isn't made of fire. The future games obviously nerfed this so you needed varying amounts of intelligence and/or faith.

I see what the grift is with this Dark Souls "Magic" run.
He's trying to expand his Minecraft "Chill & Interactive" style of streaming, where he's entirely dependent on his paypigs directing the gameplay by having them throw quarters at him while they tell him what to do.
It's so greasy.
Unfortunately for him, the paypigs aren't biting.

A mod showed up during his Call of Duty: Blackout Toilet Sitting Simulator stream, and he tried to use Pignosis to get the mod to show up for his next Dark Souls stream, by laying down a DSP Guilt Trip on them.
It was really greasy.
