I was listening to Mr Huthstuff's video of the unrecorded QnA, and I think this 20-second segment perfectly captures how DSP sees the relationship between him as a content creator and his viewers(/customers).

"There was no point in doing it. It was just fan service."

Literally saying that a fan service video isn 't worth about $15 to him. Fifteen dollars in exchange for customer relations, possibly reaching hundreds, maybe thousands of actual fans. Fifteen. Fucking. Dollars.

Best part is that he's completely unaware of what he just said and how it exposes his true intentions. And you can just see by the way he said it, it's something he really means. It's not him being smug or something, no, he really hates the idea of not getting a return on investment, no matter if it's something fans enjoy.
This always cracks me up because he acts like his body doesn't need food anyways, to exist. It's not 'DSP Tries It: Eating Gold Leaf' it's literally 'DSP Tries It: Eating Bread & Chicken'. He acts like he immediately goes and vomits everything up the second the camera is off.

He's crying because a meal he is eating was only partially paid for, just like he's crying because his fans have only partially paid for his tax liability on the $77K they already gave him in 2018 + his YouTube & Patreon income. If you had an avenue that paid you money back on the food you eat, why would you not do that every fucking day?

Really it's just because he's too lazy to set up the camera. To be fair it's probably annoying for him to bring his back-up shirt to change into after the one he is wearing is drenched in sweat from standing and wadding around for the few minutes setting up the camera takes.

It's amazing how little DSP actually likes to experiment with a game; instead he rages that the chat doesn't TELL him how to play.

DSP has no idea what a "loss leader" is, nor any concept of short term loss for potential long term gain. Everything DSP does has to be a profit right there and then.

DSP also refuses to invest any money in his own "company." He's had a broken keyboard for months if not years. He's still using the same hardware for at least 5+ years; that's ancient in computer terms. I'm convinced his OBS problems on the best of 2018 stream were because he hasn't updated the software since he first downloaded it years ago.

Look at this grumpy pig playing this "shitty game" in which the enemy's entire team kept spawning behind him

half way through tonight's stream,

top cheer Wagginz 5 dollars

Total tip $16, in which $10 of them are from DSP himself to "artificially inflate the number", as you can see here

Wait... What? Can you tip yourself? That has to be a tard with the same name right?

Dave was insulting some guy on his team for having a mic and saying he was high, but of course he does not insult the guy in-game but on stream because he is so scared of confrontation. And of course when his team loses he blames his team and the "gimmicks" of the game, what a positive guy lol
i popped into tevin's stream for a bit
phil literally called flanking "cheating"

he literally expects his enemies to walk into his line of sight and wait for him to notice

the idea of doing anything for growth is too foreign to phil
he thinks that if he's feeling good, then everything is good for everyone else
he needs money and ego boosting NOW

if he does something and he doesn't have get a pat on the back and a wad of cash NOW NOW NOW
then he feels sad and that means doom and gloom and gin, nothing he could do.

He was also pissing and moaning about snipers again. He not only referred back to the aim assist that supposedly happens when aiming with the sniper, but they apparently just gave a huge hitbox window to console players for "critical hits", and that's why people who suck go sniper and push his shit in.

Surprisingly, that led to multiple people (subs and non-subs) telling him he didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. For some reason, he dropped it. I'm sure it had nothing to do with literally no one agreeing with him. It's also telling that Phil hasn't switched to the sniper to show just how broken it is. I mean, obviously, he would destroy people as the sniper right?

Oh, and K/D of 1.3 for the night. BEAST MODE. Edit: Note that that K/D is inflated by one match where he received the best killstreak reward (the gunship) in a care package and promptly reeled off 11 kills to finish the match.

The thing that pissed me off more was the next question where he started cursing for no reason going

"I'm working. I dont like fucking sitting there I just want to fucking eat"

Dude calm down

From the second last match when he goes on his rant about how quickscoping is cheating and short bit into the start of the last match.

On the previous page, the book "Playing to Win" was mentioned in Phil's chat. Phil took the opportunity to slight the self-help book, possibly because it's author, David Sirlin, was a former tournament opponent of his. The chapter that was linked here was "Introducing... The Scrub", a chapter that could have been written about Phil himself:

"I once played a scrub who was actually quite good. That is, he knew the rules of the game well, he knew the character matchups well, and he knew what to do in most situations. But his web of mental rules kept him from truly playing to win. He cried cheap as I beat him with “no skill moves” while he performed many difficult dragon punches. He cried cheap when I threw him five times in a row asking, “Is that all you know how to do? Throw?” I gave him the best advice he could ever hear. I told him, “Play to win, not to do ‘difficult moves.’” This was a big moment in that scrub’s life. He could either ignore his losses and continue living in his mental prison or analyze why he lost, shed his rules, and reach the next level of play."

ThatAnonyShark says in those screenshots, "If there's a tactic that's more effective, and you know the tactic, why not adopt the tactic?" This is essentially the question David Sirlin asks in his chapter on scrubs:

"Doing one move or sequence over and over and over is a tactic close to my heart that often elicits the call of the scrub. This goes right to the heart of the matter: why can the scrub not defeat something so obvious and telegraphed as a single move done over and over? Is he such a poor player that he can’t counter that move? And if the move is, for whatever reason, extremely difficult to counter, then wouldn’t I be a fool for not using that move? The first step in becoming a top player is the realization that playing to win means doing whatever most increases your chances of winning. That is true by definition of playing to win. The game knows no rules of “honor” or of “cheapness.” The game only knows winning and losing".

Get's advice from someone in chat.
Scorns the dood for being WRONG and blind.
Whole chat telling him it's DSP who's wrong and blind.
DSP discovers the advice was actually correct.
Blames chat, saying "no one" gives him correct information and that he wants to give up.
Realizes he's being a toxic cunt, tries to make it into a joke but fails miserably and only succeeds in making the moment even more awkward than it already was.

Good job, DSP. You really defused that situation with your witty humor.

Just watch the video at 1/2 speed before DSP starts blaming the chat. I swear to god I didn't notice him doing the goal pose. After watching Tevin's stream I noticed he does the T-Pose, the Y-Pose, and now the goal pose. Nigga could be the bootleg Ginyu force.

General hype for REmake 2 seems pretty high. Has Philomena shown much enthusiasm for the game at all? I think he skipped the demo (I actually don't blame him so close to release I did too -they should have put it out months ago) and I seem to recall his original run of the PS One version being laughably bad.. wasting all his ammo early etc. It's another series I'm reasonably sure he skipped most of upon release because Ack Kerouac was On Tha Road With Super Turbo. Much like Silent Hill (and plenty of other classic series I suppose) I don't think he's really into them too much at all.

I have a feeling he'll skip the B Scenarios and roll out a standard DSPism like "People aren't showing for the hot new release streams because they're obviously all busy playing the game themselves!"

It’s going to depend on how fast he gets through the game before Kh3. From what I notice he doesn’t like to split up narrative games between the day and evening streams, meaning most new games stick to the day stream unless he starts getting pissy. It’s not a super long game though all things considered, I’m not sure what his schedule is but if he plays it all weekend on the day stream he will probably get through most of it, he seems genuinely excited for it. Or at least more excited than he usually is for a game release.

We should also take into consideration how many times he'll get stuck on some puzzles or dies because zombies or bosses and blames the game on it. Combined that if he's just gonna do Leon's campaign or do both Claire and Leon's stuff.

There are no B scenarios in the remake.
