Poor people in America who didn't have cushy 100K/yr jobs, working at fucking Wal-Mart part time and McDonald's for the other part, know good and goddamn well how easy it is to get the banks, credit companies, car companies, and utility companies to ease up off your ass for two or three months.

Lost your job? First thing you do is call all of the above. 90% of utility companies will pro-rate your current bill (some will even tell you to wait a month or two so you can pro-rate the big bill) across 6 or 12 months. Churches (Salvation Army & St Vincent DePaul) as well as Goodwill offer utility assistance. Credit card companies will freeze your (more than likely) maxed out card with 0% interest for a month or two.

The fact that these government workers are claiming they're about to be evicted tells poor people (like me) that they were already behind in their rent and utilities, couldn't be assed to stay current on the bills, and didn't bother to save up $20.

Plus, when do poor people see government workers? At the food stamp office. Cushy fucking jobs, passing you from person to person and making sure you can't get anything done. Smugly telling you that you make $15 too much to get your kid's teeth fixed.

Your average poor white trash has NO fucking pity for these government leeches. I don't know about the ghetto dancing reta.rd brigade or the barrio strutting greasers, but everyone knows that government workers are lazier than fuck.

Seeing all this "FREE BROADWAY TICKETS FOR GOVERNMENT WORKERS!" and "FREE THIS FOR GOVERNMENT WORKERS!" when these same companies couldn't give two shits about Uncle Alvin or Aunt Hope when they lost their fucking jobs at the mill and the government workers basically laughed and went "Well, move where the jobs are. Get with the times!"

Pretty much everyone I know sees the "Poor government workers! Won't you give? For only $125 day you can make sure Fatass McBitchpants is kept in donuts and bonbons during this terrible time!" bullshit and says: "NOW YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS, YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITE!"

As for the whole "Extra food stamps" thing, yeah, most of the people I know who are on food stamps went "Oh... shit..." when they got them early. Lots of stocking up on non-perishable foods and canned goods rather than chips and shit. But then, I dont really know anyone who acts like the stereotypical welfare queen.

There is one little underline that isn't being noticed: Last year new rules went through that if you are employable and between 18 and 52, no in college, not caring for someone disabled, not disabled yourself, you can get THREE MONTHS OF FOOD STAMPS. Boom. That's it. And the old loophole of being listed as a dependent was closed. After that three months you are listed as a non-working dependent and get no food stamp increase.

Since it started in Jan, that means that Feb and March will be the last months for a lot of these people.

I"ve got more, mostly about how the whole Troon thing seems to ignore that the War on Terror has really warped people's perception of war so that they think that the military will always operate out of high end FOBs, have uninterrupted logistics chains, and magic wands that provide medication immediately.

But I'll save that sperg for later.

Some Trans Ban stuff

The military, by design, must care about one thing and one thing only. Effectively killing the enemy, breaking his shit, and convincing his civilians to no longer support that government by threat of force. In that are three important things: Force projection, deployment, and logistics. Force projection is vehicles (planes, tanks, aircraft carriers), weaponry (rifles, artillery, missiles), effective range, and personnel. That's your direct ability to kill the enemy by being able to reach them. US Force projection is at the point where some analysts rate the average American infantryman as having the same amount of fire output as a Vietnam Era platoon. IIRC three point five M1A1 tanks have the same firepower (force projection) as a WW2 battleship. Deployment means how many troops, tanks, planes, and the like you can field. It's interlinked with the other two, with logistics covering actually getting it there (Airborne or Rapid Deployment doctrines come into play there) and it matters. Finally, logistics, which is getting the shit that people need to wage war to the people that need it. It covers food, water, medical supplies, uniforms, equipment, ammunition, as well as getting it from the manufacturer all the way to the end user.

During warfare, the enemy's logistic chains are a priority target. You WANT to hit convoys, trains, airfields, roads, bridges, all of that. If the enemy cannot get reenforcements and supplies to the front he will. lose. the. war. This has been true since right after Cain bashed Able's head in with a rock. That's why seiges work: The enemy cannot get logistics into the beseiged area and the population and their protectors starve/die of thirst or disease.

Why is all of this important? Well, simple.

The US military, when it comes to personnel, is all about deployment status. You must be fit to fight. It doesn't matter if you are a PAC clerk, a medic, or an infantryman, you MUST be able to pick up a rifle and fight. Among the things that can make you non-deployable are: Diabetes, cavities, herpes (no shit, herpes), depression, anxiety. PTSD is one of the weird ones where a noticable percentage of people with PTSD do good when they get deployed and come apart at the seams when they get back. (At least, that was how it was viewed 20 years ago)

A troon is non-deployable once they start HRT. Going on and off of HRT has known side effects that damage war fighting ability. Once they get surgery, they are definitely non-deployable.

Troons hold up a good half dozen or so troonswho were deployed, ignoring what they deployed as once they transitioned. I'm sorry, but being deployed as an aviation mechanic to a secure FOB (Forward Operating Base) that's a primary logistics hub doesn't mean that troon has proved that they belong in the military. That proves that the unit was able to accomadate that particular troon's needs without sacrificing war fighting ability.

But here's the rub...

The War on Terror has made the American public and some segment of the officer corps extremely stupid, with their cilivian advisors (You'd be amazed how much of the military has been privatized and how much of the Pentagon is civilians now) becoming even stupider.

Back in the days prior to 9-11 the US military trained for "Go to Hell" strategies. These training excersizes and doctrine automatically assumed that the lines had been broken, that the logistic chains were shattered, focusing on material conservation, regrouping, and reestablishing logistics and reenforcements. Training and doctrine assumed a competent and organized enemy that had doctrine as well as logistics of their own.

But Afghanistan and Iraq are Special Ed to China and Russia (and previously the USSR/Warsaw Pact) James Bond Supervillians. They're like the VC with less supplies, less coordination, and less intelligence/bravery. IED's are the primary weapon of the insurgent.

Which means that's what civilians see war as. Special Ed class REEEEing and attacking the Football team. It's also infected the ranks that this is what war would be. It's an extension of the Clinton-Era "Brushfire War Forever" theories, that the US military would never face another Army on parity because the USSR fell apart (ignoring China and the inevitable progression of time that would lead, eventually, to another competitor). Many theorists and officers believed that the US military no longer needed major force projection such as aircraft carriers, some argued that Desert Storm proved that the infantry was no longer needed to win a war. No shit, people claimed the Air Force had rendered the Army useless.

Stating that Troons can serve without effecting war fighting ability assumes we'll be fighting the Special Ed class forever.

Too many people think that the days of living in a ditch or in a tent or in a foxhole is over. That the days of unclean and unsanitary living conditions are over. That command can request medication and get it within 12 hours from the manufacturer.

It ignores reality.

Troons are nondeployable the minute they take HRT. Diabetes and high blood pressure make a person nondeployable because of the very real risk of logistics interruption.

Once surgery happens, MtF troons are effectively useless outside of any place that can't garuntee constant hygiene. Dialation, hygenic practices, HRT, all of this relies on a hygenic living area (Despite how many lolcows we see living in absolute filth).

Troons are saying "Well, women serve, so troons can too!" except that a woman's vagina is self-cleaning and it ignores that there is STILL issues in the field with UTI's, yeast infections, bacteria imbalances, not even touching mastitis caused by wearing plate insert body armor.

The health issues around having a troon in a nasty, dirty, combat theater environment that isn't built around bases that have been established for over a decade (Before you think everyone is still living in tents and foxholes like in 2002 (Afghanistan) and 2003 (Iraq) remember that the US military has been building the infrastructure in those regions for ALMOST TWENTY YEARS. Now, full disclosure, I haven't been to either theater, I don't know the extent of the military bases there, but I remember how fast the Log Bases in Saudi Arabia and how fast KKMC were built up in 90/91.

This is NOT saying that infantry/MP's/whatever don't go out and live in fucking holes for weeks at a time, but that's infantry for you. But living in shit conditions, which was assumed to be the default for any deployment, is now considered unlikely.

So, if troons can't be deployed due to medical concerns, what the fuck is the use of having them in the service.

What Millenials and Troons don't get is that the military is not there for their gratification and validation. It can, does, and should discriminate for a variety of reasons: Too short? LOL. Too tall? Get rekd skrub. Too fat? NEXT! Too skinny? NEXT! Six fingers on each hand? NEXT! Four fingers? NEXT! Bone spurs in the joints? NEXT! Flat feet? NEXT! Asthma? NEXT!

It all boils down to one thing, no matter what some of these new crop of idiot officers say: Kill. The. Enemy.

That means that all the squealing in the world doesn't change the fact that if you are not fit to serve, you are not fit to serve.

SOmeone said that all this, with faggots in the military, women in combat arms, and troons being allowed to serve, boils down to one thing: Daddy Issues. Daddy said "No" and they REEEEE until they get their way. Faggots and Dykes were a separate issue that the women in combat brigade and the troon cheerleaders misrepresent in order to wedge women into combat arms and troons. The majority of people screeching the loudest never served, will never serve, or did a year or two as an E3 or less.

While the price of a troon's medication and medical surgeries are all "LOL DICK PILLS!" in regards to Viagra (something that makes me want to punch those people in the face), it ignores the REAL issue. Every doctor handling a troon's validation surgeries isn't handling the medical issues of a soldier who can be returned to deployment status.

They're wasting money putting a new paint job on a VW Bug with a blown head gasket instead of fixing the F150 truck with the flat tire.

They ignore one simple thing: For each troon, who will be nondeployable the second they begin HRT OR fail a psych eval, that slot could have been taken by a stable person. Once the troon becomes nondeployable the military loses all of the investment it put into that troon. They could have grabbed some sister fucking white trash idiot and trained him the same way and once they fixed his teeth that he blew out with meth and stupidity, he's deployable till he gets blown up.

In sheer costs, troons are wasted tax dollars, wasted man-hours of training, wasted resources in training, outfitting once they fail a psych test or begin HRT.

They hurt deployment status for the unit, since now either they deploy short handed or bring in someone new (who has to acclimate to the unit) to fill the slot the troon was filling. Meanwhile, the troon gets to stay back and keep getting catered to.

This has been a long way of saying: Troons are a waste of money and resources as far as the military is concerned.

The mistake is thinking that all wars from now on will all be like the GWoT is after a fucking decade and a half. That the enemy will always be Special Ed students with IED's and 40 year old mortars.

Of course, the funny thing is, what a friend of mine said: Troons love shoving their way into women's spaces. Women (Not females. Women jump in the lifeboats, females stay behind to man the guns) have a long history of avoiding deployments and being lazy as fuck, so of course troons are going to push women into combat arms so they can fill the ranks of the barracks pump, lazy clerks, and spoiled Barracks 2's Field 8's.

Long, rambling, but easily summed up with: Troons are delusional and so are their supporters.

@Jet Fuel Johnny Most poor people I've known have friends, family, and communities to help them out in a pinch. I know people who have borrowed money to cover rent or a sudden emergency debt, or people who trust neighbors to look after the kids because they have a job but can't afford day care. Middle class people idolize this "character" and a "sense of community" of poor places without realizing it's born out of necessity.
